I think business people should speak on internal matters inside their company emails. Why the hell would you expose yourself to questions from random people on issues pertaining to a bootstrapped company?

The profits reported were for last year - and we had a pay hike last year.
The server prices have gone up massively this year. When we sign up new customers we have to buy servers, and we also have to replace old servers. Then there is AI usage and GPU spending, also up substantially.
Basic business economics: revenue up but capital investment (seevers) to get that revenue is up massively so cash flow goes negative (but remember capex is depreciated over time). We have cut marketing and deferred pay hikes to get cash flow to zero.
Raghavendra: basic journalistic ethics would require you to disclose that a) your previous company used to compete with Zoho b) you present company received investment from a direct competitor of Zoho.

2. The revision for Q4 FY26 was upwards from 7.8% to 8.6%. So malicious intent is can't be proved.
3. Q1 FY25 (2024) GDP was 70.61 Lakh Crore. Q1 FY27 (2026) was 81.36 Lakh Crore. That's CAGR of 7.34% per year
I love this. If you want to understand why India is f**ked beyond redemption, see this clip.
An actual finance secretary during the bjp govt, who gets how the sausage is made, is saying this is a farce.
In any other country, this would be a media scoop. Here the journalist seems scared for her life. She wants to threaten him into following the party line. It almost feels like she knows she will lose her job for giving airtime to someone who speaks the truth and makes sense.
SC Garg continues to gently dismantle the propaganda using the government’s own data. @Subhashgarg1960 ji please keep at it
