I still don't get notifications about likes or responses on my posts. I only see them if I remember to go back to my own posts. Apologies to anyone who doesn't get a reply from me.

This is a really cool protest. Go to your local county councils or your city boards and when the issue of data centers comes up play the sound of a data center near you so that nothing can get done.

This is the most biased, misinforming, pitiful research paper I have ever had the displeasure of reading.
This alleges transwomen are in fear of physical violence from correctional officers. That $10M settlement 142 women in CCWF just got is because of reported use of excessive force on female inmates from CORRECTIONAL STAFF.
This report says transwomen are afraid of “horny women” who will assault them. 🤦🏻♀️and they find menstruation disgusting.
There is no struggle for equal rights in the carceral system mentioned. There is no desire to assimilate into the female population. The entitled expectations are so self centered and dismissive of anyone in prison who is not a transwoman. No one in custody has ever had any of the privileges exclusively provided to transwomen. The whole piece is written as if women are just a minor roadblock in the race to achieve trans supremacy.

Replying to @UNHumanRights
With all due respect, but “sex worker” is not UN agreed on terminology to describe women exploited in prostitution. I hope that the simulation also addressed how she can report and access justice for the multiple forms of severe violence a woman engaged in prostitution is subjected to at the hands of buyers of sexual acts and pimps.

Meta had an internal PR plan to try and discredit Jon Haidt because he was a critic of social media.
Meta was going to recruit academics, like Andrew Gelman, to write take down pieces. They were trying to turn academics against one another through a "whisper strategy".
This is a very serious problem for open academic debate. If academics who share negative evidence about a platform are targeted by campaigns to smear our credibility, we are in deep, deep trouble.
This creates a very serious conflict of interest for anyone who is paid to do this.

🇺🇸 FINALLY. The United States is starting to question the surrogacy industry it allowed to grow like a cancer.
And this case involves TWO FRENCH MEN.
Florida’s Attorney General is challenging the constitutionality of surrogacy contracts.
Because since when can a HUMAN BEING be the subject of a commercial contract?
WELL DONE @AGJamesUthmeier ! This is coming from a surrogate born child 🙏🏻

The position of the Sex Discrimination Commissioner should not come as a surprise and in fact is the only position that she can take in order to try be consistent and coherent to herself and others given her overarching views and opinions.
We must understand that the position she expressed is the only position one can organically arrive at, if one - as she does- a) conflates sex and gender identity b) disregards the material reality of women in favor of women being a feeling or an identity. c) disregards that certain reproductive processes are tied to being of a certain sex.
I have genuinely tried to understand this position and to debate it with her to no avail. There is one point where we fundamentally differ and that I think underpins her positions on this: Commissioner Cody believes that if we were to recognize that women and girls have historically been discriminated against based on their sex (intersecting with other grounds), that would mean that we accept that that this discrimination is biologically determined and that this discrimination is acceptable or justified.
This reasoning is flawed. We would not follow the same logic with any other form of discrimination, say for example racial discrimination. Naming that black people are often and have been often discriminated against because they are black does not suggest that such discrimination is justified, nor a tacit acceptance of it, nor does it suggest that they should be forever locked in a condition of being racially discriminated against.
The answer to a serious problem cannot be to stop naming the cause, in the hope that this cause would magically go away or that its impact on the lives of people would soften or vanish.
Sex Discrimination Commissioner Anna Cody at Senate estimates said that protections designed to protect breastfeeding women from being discriminated against would also extend to “induced lactation in a biological male”. Read the full story: bit.ly/4zb29gC

The Supreme Court Review published an article with erroneous citations propping up a fake definition of sex. I asked its editor, @WilliamBaude, to issue a correction.
He ignored me. Then the authors admitted error. Now can we get that correction?

Sen. Gallego (D-Ariz.) calls for disbarring lawyers who serve the Trump admin and applying "social pressure." He says "when you do sh***y stuff, we should treat you like s**t."
But then he makes an exception for universities that settled with Trump. "We're going to have to be fairly judicious about who gets punished and who doesn't."
So:
1. Try to disbar lawyers who took positions you don't like.
2. If that fails because they didn't do anything wrong, be mean to them.
3. Making a deal with the admin because your university client actually did violate the law (SFFA, Title 9, etc.) qualifies you for mean treatment.
4. Selective enforcement is key. Don't be mean in a consistent, principled way. You don't have to piss off Harvard and Penn while you have two kids in high school.

A woman in an abusive relationship is most vulnerable when she is leaving.
That’s what’s happening with “trans.”
It’s a men’s sexual entitlement movement backed by a massive industry - a gruesome blend of wealthy AGPs, the medical and pharma industries, tech, and porn.
It has been gaslighting everyone for decades. For a long time, that worked. We accepted the abuse.
But most of us have woken up. A clear majority of people have had it, all over the world, regardless of political affiliation, religion, or sexual orientation.
The abusers are holding on for dear life and lashing out. That’s how this works.
Two links in reply: one free post about how the “gender identity” industry is a narcissistic abuser (feel free to share) and one podcast episode behind a paywall about how it’s in the death throes of a dying star.
I’m very sorry to say that it is going to get much worse until it’s finally over. Don’t let anything shock you. 1/3

When men who claim to be women want access to women-only spaces it’s a human right, when women want women-only spaces it’s “f—-ing stupid.”

Ah yes. The epitome of a girl's girl is a girl who attacks another girl for defending girls.
AOC is a men's rights activist. She wants men to take women's rights away under the guise of 'inclusion'
