Like I said to @Lunboxhero45 last night - I’m incredible proud to have @DrivelineBB | @DrivelineYouth be a part of this story and the 3A Athletics initiative.
Performance & development in youth baseball doesn’t have to come with a mental health cost for the kids.

It was perfect! I work with so many high school kids who are rigid movers. Having a youth mobility program has been awesome. A lot of our coaches talk about how our kids move differently. Every practice is mobility, athletic throwing, and allowing them to explore how they move. We end infielder work with banana ball tricks, and it’s amazing how quickly they can adjust and learn. We don't coach mechanics; we coach movement!

What we do in two hours in one 13U practice…
1. Mobility, arm care, and a quick pickup football game.
3. Pre-throw drills, athletic throwing, partner ground ball work, quick hands, and long toss, and end with pitching constraint drills
2. Catchers- receiving, blocking, and working on block and throw to 1st.
3. 1B footwork, scoops, and feeds to pitcher
4. Infielders- Double plays, throwing on the run off a short hop, and some banana ball fun. It helps to have 5 rebounders!
5. Hitting Stations w/ only three cages- Rapsodo hitting, two matching Jugs Lite Flite working curveball and fastball, two med ball stations, PVC work on side, rebounded overload and underload with hitting plyos, and Axe skinny bat hitting Driveline mini-plyos. Every player tracks swings via a Blast sensor.
We get arm care, mobility, intentional catch play, ground ball footwork, positional work, and nine hitting stations in that short window. No one sits around!
Lots of great resources out there. @mobilitychick @DrivelineBB @NateTrosky @USABaseball @rapsodo @AxeBat @jugssports @Blast_Bsbl

The tongue has fascial connections down to the toes. My clients have been working on tongue awareness throughout the day + in training + many have felt an instant difference.
High tongue posture improved athletic performance + muscular strength up to 30% (Di Vico, et. al, 2013)
