We strongly disagree with the Beacon Coalition’s endorsement of Rogers. We had no knowledge of these plans and are not funding this work. We have been clear since the end of the Democratic primary and said it repeatedly: we believe El-Sayed must win this race because Donald Trump cannot have another rubber stamp in the Senate. Third Way stands united behind our Senate Democratic nominees. A Democratic Senate majority is an essential check on Trump, and we are counting on El-Sayed to hand Mike Rogers his second defeat.

“Only 37% of Democrats say their party should become more liberal, while a majority, some 52%, say the party should either become more moderate or stay the same.
In another sign of moderate impulses, two-thirds of Democrats in the poll said they prefer a candidate who reaches across the aisle in the spirit of compromise to pass legislation, far more than the one-quarter who want a candidate who won’t compromise on principles.
And more Democrats call themselves ‘somewhat liberal’ than ‘very liberal.’ They support centrist ideas such as border security, police funding and voter ID laws more than the very-liberal group does.” wsj.com/politics/how-liberal…

Last December, Eileen Higgins became the first Democrat in nearly 30 years elected as Miami's mayor.
Now, she's joining forces with red-state Democratic mayors across the country to help the party rebuild trust with voters on public safety, affordability, and economic growth.
"[We're] pushing back against extremism and promoting a more practical brand of leadership that focuses on results over rhetoric."

Finding real solutions to income inequality, climate change, and immigrant injustice has always been a Democratic priority. The DSA's answer is to tear the whole system down, which makes for good soundbites, not sound policies.

🚨NEW: With less than 100 days till the midterms, New Dems are fighting day and night for the Majority.
Here's where we stand:
✅58 New Dems are contesting competitive seats. That’s more than any other member-led organization.
✅35 New Dem races have shifted towards Democrats since the start of the cycle.
✅89% of New Dem-endorsed candidates have won their primaries. That’s the strongest performance of any member-led organization.
✅21 of 25 New Dem Red to Blue challengers out-raised sitting Republicans in Q2. That’s up from 17 of 25 in Q1.
✅New Dem Frontliners have 4x the resources of their Republican opponents and have a cash-on-hand lead in 15 of 16 races.

Third Way President Jon Cowan on the DNC autopsy:
"The autopsy draft released today validates the case we’ve been making post-2024 and are making again today as we gather over 150 Nevada Democrats to chart the party’s future. Democrats must be able to win the middle, anytime, anywhere and they can do that only with a combative centrism that rejects identity politics, reclaims the vital center, and positions the party as fighters on the economic issues that matter most to voters. As the NY Times poll shows, even a majority of Democrats want the party to move center not left, and this report echoes that sentiment. For Democrats who want to win, this report should be case closed."

Primary season is underway, and everyone’s speculating which Democrat can win in a general election. Here’s what we know: moderates have been the largest share of the electorate for the past 20 years, and that won’t change in 2026 or 2028.
Winning over 60% of moderates is the 🔑 to taking back Congress and the White House. thirdway.org/memo/the-60-mod…
