Spring calvers onto our 20meter AECS grass margins for a bit of a tidy up. 1st year so not risking differed winter grazing on them.
PD'd today for 1st April calving. 90% 6-10weeks incalf, 10% to recheck in month or so as bulls were still running until late August.

Autumn calvers heading closer to home on a bright #Mondaymorning, will take more than one bright day to be back to harvest though😵

Finally into some spring barley after some frustrating weather. Not a pretty sample, except the Ladybirds (of which there are plenty!) - maybe they're putting the moisture up too. #harvest23 will be one to forget.

Day two halter breaking calves! You just can't beat the @UKHerefords for docility.
Back out to the field for these guys now in the hope of better weather for #Harvest23 🤞

Change of view today! As part of #monitorfarm26 we've done a whole farm soil analysis and an ILMP with a couple of specialist plans to follow as a result. A few changes to come? Possibly - and not just to the view!
