Let's get this straight, #ICP is not actually being marketed poorly right now. Maybe it was in the past, but I don't think that's the case anymore.
If $ICP was being marketed poorly, I don't think we would be seeing 99 data centers across 33 countries, the UN and its member countries building with ICP, and the Pakistani government working with the technology.
If you can also be honest, you should have noticed that major crypto news media platforms are now covering ICP news almost daily.
What most people understand as marketing in the crypto space is price manipulation, artificial hype and coordinated pumping. I don't think any of that is in @dfinity's playbook, bro π€.
They are focused on building real technology, driving adoption and creating actual utility. So forget about expecting artificial pumps.
$ICP will grow organically through real utilities and usage. That's the bigger picture ππ

All those transactions have been processed in the space of ~5 years since mainnet launch and, as far as we know, no other chain even comes close to $ICP for total transactions.

These hacks are actually a welcome development and a wake-up call for those who are wise enough to start migrating to $ICP and building whatever they wish to build onchain, where their backend can be more secure and tamperproof.
Because what's coming with AI-powered hacks will make all these hacks look like child's play.
The time to start thinking differently about security is now. $ICP π€π
I think at this point, itβs getting harder to ignore whatβs happening across our industry.
Weβve seen Bybit get hacked, Bitget get hacked, Binance get hacked, HTX face warnings from European authorities over allegedly accepting dirty money, and now MEXC is also facing rumors about similar activities.
And thatβs just the bigger names.
Smaller exchanges are shutting down one after another, some are disappearing overnight, and others are leaving users unable to access their own funds. Itβs becoming increasingly difficult to know which platforms can actually be trusted and which ones are just waiting for the right moment to collapse.
The whole point of crypto was supposed to be financial freedom, transparency, and being in control of your own money.
Yet here we are, constantly questioning the very platforms that are supposed to make this industry accessible.

Today I will provide an in depth analysis of Revenue, Expenses & Earnings for ICP VS ETH, SOL & NEAR.
Quarterly expenses for ICP in Q3 came down to $11.72M. The M70 changes have made a real difference on the tokenomics side.
At this pace, we're looking at roughly $45M to $50M in yearly expenses, which is the amount we need to cover with revenue. Expenses are down 68.1% from 2024 to 2025 and another 59.5% from 2025 to 2026 so far.

Many people are still treating $ICP the same way they treat other tokens. They haven't understood that $ICP is tied to real utility.
It's no longer about hype, market manipulation or how much people shill it. Nothing we say here or anyone says on our TL will make ICP fly or dump.
The only thing that will determine ICP's long-term value is its usage and utility.
That's why I don't even bother trying to convince anyone anymore. I personally wish retailers would miss out on this one, and I'm not just wishing for it. It's going to become a reality.

A NEAR transaction has now been signed by an ICP canister.
A community developer has built a Rust canister that controls a NEAR account and can construct and sign transactions using ICPβs Ed25519 signing capability.
The first transfer has already gone through on NEAR testnet.
The interesting part is how this works: rather than storing a private key in one place, ICPβs threshold signing technology allows subnet nodes to collectively produce signatures without reconstructing the full key.
There is an important distinction: this first demonstration used a local test key. Mainnet deployment is the next step, where the distributed signing setup comes into play.
The developer says the code will be made public soon.

According to @_0xBenjamin, that's over 9x the combined transaction count of Ethereum, Base, and BNB Chain.
However, the comparison is disputed, as ICP's transaction metrics may include read-only queries and internal canister calls, making direct comparisons with other chains potentially misleading.
