2023 has been a rollercoaster, but I'm a really happy chap to share that our @LeibnizWGL JRG proposal was recommended for funding 🥳. I'm looking forward to the coming 5 years, where we will work towards further integration of historical collections in biodiversity research. 1/n
I'm very excited to continue working with @BIOresearch_NRM and @JoshPenalba, but also to start new collaborations with @leo_speidel and Jeff Johnson @peregrinefund. In the coming year(s), we will advertise two new PhD projects @mfnberlin focused on #MuseumGenomics, 2/n
...so if you know anyone interested please DM! Finally, this project would not have existed were it not for PhD students extraordinaire @sihaybo, @mernster3, Filip Thorn and Ingo Müller. Besides our ongoing exchange of ideas, they also gave me the best prep for the interview!
