John 13:7
Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.”
When we lean into what God has already built in us - faith, patience, and knowledge of His character - we find that He’s provided everything we needed (2 Peter 1:3). Difficulties that once seemed insurmountable start to look different.
Through His Word, through prayer, through every trial we’ve already endured . . . God’s been equipping us with exactly what we’ll need for whatever challenge comes next.
When we trust Christ in the struggle, each hardship becomes an opportunity for Him to display His character and strength.
2 Corinthians 12:9
And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness."
Commit to obeying God and reading His Word daily to learn how to stay faithful. God is with you in the pursuit and eager to complete what He has begun in you.
God’s steadfastness isn’t tied to our circumstances or our performance. . .
It is unwavering, patient, and always there.
There is never a day when God’s goodness toward you has worn out. The love that has held you until now will keep on holding you.
“The Lord’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning” (Lamentations: 3:22-23).
Take comfort in knowing that God is infinite and ever-present, with a love for you that has no end. . .
No matter where you go or what you do, your Father is with you.
Waiting means active trust. It’s the soul’s refusal to give up on God when the answer hasn’t come, the door hasn’t opened, the healing hasn’t arrived. It’s choosing, in the middle of the silence, to believe the Lord is still good and still near.
We might assume God’s presence, nearness, and faithfulness are blessings that shield us from adversity. But they’re more than that—they’re also what hold us through trouble.
What characterizes the good life is not the absence of hardship but, rather, the nearness of God in the midst of hardship.
Our own strength isn't sufficient to save us. Through Christ alone, we find hope and a settled peace.
The Lord isn’t seeking people with the right résumé; He’s looking for those who will sit near Him long enough to be changed by Him. . .
Time spent with Jesus is never wasted.
