tmaps can now route me from Duomo to Centrale FS without leaving the terminal.
17 minutes by car. Google Maps would give me the same answer. This one draws it in braille.

ALT Terminal screenshot of tmaps showing a dark map of Milan, drawn with braille dots. Parks are green, water is blue, and street names are labeled. A Search box at the top has "duomo" typed in. It lists five results with type and distance, such as "Duomo, Piazza del Duomo, Milano, Italia, station, 460 m". The first result is highlighted.

ALT Terminal screenshot of tmaps showing a route in Milan. The map is drawn with braille dots. A blue line runs from point A (Duomo) to point B (Centrale FS). A side panel titled Route has car, bike, and foot tabs, with car selected. It lists three route options: 17 min, 4.6 km; 18 min, 5.4 km; and 21 min, 6.4 km. Below are turn-by-turn steps in Italian, 22 in total.
I made a map app for my terminal because apparently I don't spend enough time there already.
It's called tmaps. It draws OpenStreetMap with braille characters and plans routes by car, bike, or on foot.
Written in Rust. Still a work in progress.

12 years in the making... Scroll-Driven Animations are officially Baseline Newly Available 🎉
Pure CSS scroll-driven animations are now supported across every major browser engine and to celebrate this milestone, check out this animated timeline tracing the history of the feature from the 2014 proposal to today, built using Scroll-Driven Animations → goo.gle/3Urm9fT
I just received a coffee from Bernd on @buymeacoffee! buymeacoffee.com/morellodev/…
Awesome Reveal is the successor of React Awesome Reveal, and a lot changed since v4:
- Emotion is gone, and the animations run on the Web Animations API
- React is now one of several integrations: Vue, Astro and plain JavaScript ship with 1.0, and more are coming
- The core is under 2 kB gzipped and has no dependencies
- Server-rendered content stays hidden until it reveals, so it doesn't flash
- It respects reduced motion and works with a strict CSP
Awesome Reveal 1.0 RC is now available on npm 🎉
Scroll reveal animations for React, Vue, Astro and plain JavaScript, rebuilt on IntersectionObserver and the Web Animations API.
The API is frozen, so now is the time to try it and report bugs.

Content mappers in TS 7.1 are an absolute game changer
It’s plugins for TypeScript: a way to dynamically compute a static type signature for external file types (.vue, .md, etc) and integrate them directly into tsc compilation
TypeScript 7.1 Beta is now available! Now with a preview API, content mapper support, new features, and some great optimizations. Give it a try and give us some feedback! devblogs.microsoft.com/types…

PocketJS now runs on an iPod nano with 176×132 screen, 192MHz CPU and no FPU.
The UI is written in SolidJS, compiled to native code by MicroTS, and runs as a Rockbox plugin at 30 fps. No JavaScript engine on the device.
AI coding agent skills are coming to Awesome Reveal.
Your coding agent will have the context it needs to understand the API, follow best practices and generate idiomatic code.
Less guesswork, better results. Out of the box.
A sneak peek at the new Awesome Reveal.
Tiny, framework-agnostic core.
React, Vue and Astro at launch. More to come.
Vanilla JS out of the box.
Zero dependencies. Small bundles. Composable API.
Less magic, more platform. Still plug and play.
React Awesome Reveal is expanding!
The next release adds libraries for React, Vue, Astro and plain JS.
Try the preview and tell me what feels unclear in the new API. If you use v4, I’d love feedback on migration too.

I ported @vercel's fx coding agent to Windows 98
it talks to an LLM over a 56k modem and supports computer use (via MCP.exe)
I now proudly run my own gamedev studio from 1999
my agents email each other in Outlook and store code on a network drive (git was not invented yet, sorry)
good times
Just bought awesome-reveal.dev!
It’ll be the new home of Awesome Reveal, previously known as React Awesome Reveal.
I’m working on a major new release, and this felt like the right time to give the project its own domain.
More to share soon!
react-awesome-reveal is becoming awesome-reveal. Sneak preview, built on the next branch.
A reveal is now one component with a good default, so there is no Fade to pick and no Emotion to install. It is 1kB gzipped and has no dependencies. It also ships for Vue, Astro and plain JS (more frameworks to come).
A different animation is a function call. slide, scale, blur and pop take options, and you can write your own keyframes.
It runs on the Web Animations API, so the animation does not depend on a CSS-in-JS runtime.

Hey maintainers, @pnpmjs 12.11 links the agent skills your package ships into .claude/skills or .cursor/skills once approved.
Bootstrap has lovely skills in skills/<name>/SKILL.md, so I sent a PR to include them in its npm package. Maybe check yours too:
