Process and PnL Often sideways = small movements, small wins, hitting singles, small losses, keeps the account ticking over, defensive until you see the opportunity to hit an A+ setup in between - back to defensive. Ladders = Setting up and executing a winning trade, playing out the trading objective. Snakes = Poor risk management, over-sizing too early, lazyness, 'fuck it' attitude, not cutting losers quickly all lead to significant drawdown. This one hurts the most. Have a blessed week ahead.

SZ is one of the best I know at compounding into winners / sizing up as a trade develops... A common mistake traders make is putting their largest size on at the initial entry when uncertainty is arguably at its highest...and therefore take an unnecessarily large loss when wrong. Once youโ€™re in a winning position and the market has begun validating your idea, you have far more room to add dynamically while managing overall risk - keeping it relatively static. In other words... earn the right to size up and press. You never really have the market by the balls, but occasionally it lets you think you do. Give it a watch. tradersz.com/anticipating-raโ€ฆ

I have come to the conclusion that most people would be better off trading less. It's counter intuitive to what you have been taught in other areas of work life, but the data supports this from every journal i have reviewed ๐Ÿซก

Show up everyday and results have no option but to follow. Being consistent produces progress- show up long enough and results will show up. Eventually it would have taken you 5 years to be an overnight success Lock in

Watched this FP playlist last year for the first time Hands down the best FP course out there (as hard as it seems, they keep on preaching to gather patterns and keep it simple). Going to watch it again this week, a year + later and I'm sure I'll pick up a few things. Props btw to @Trader_XO for linking this in the mentorship youtube.com/watch?v=Ng9UsK1gโ€ฆ

instead of focusing on wins or losses, focus on the quality of your decisions you tilt because your emotions are attached to a short term outcome you donโ€™t control focus on qualitative metrics so your emotions can attach to something you have 100% control of

I don't know how much more clear I need to make it. I've made MILLIONS of dollars trading a 35% win rate. The turtle traders under Richard Dennis made MILLIONS with a 35-40% win rate. I get it wrong MORE OFTEN than I get it right. I don't know if this is new to you, but everyone's opinion has the probability of being wrong, EVEN MINE. The people who tout "this guy doesn't know what he's doing, follow me instead" are misguiding you into believing you're always going to make money on every single trade. Or that somehow they've figured something out that I haven't after 15+ years of doing this. This game is about how much you lose when you're wrong.. and how much you win when you're right. That's it. Attaching my full Apex account statement. I had a 35-38% win rate for 3 straight months... and made $3,000,000 doing it. Stop trying to chase perfect. Instead, chase profitability.

I get trades wrong as often, if not more than I get them right. My position sizing usually dictates my performance. I size heavier on A+ setups, and use smaller size as โ€œfeelersโ€ when Iโ€™m unsure of the trade. Iโ€™m partnered with NONE of the prop firms in this run.. and will provide my honest experiences when it comes to payouts or any issues that I might run into. All of the accounts were paid for personally by me and none were freely givenโ€ฆ as always.

All of my years of studying and trading have led me to believe that cutting losses is the key that enables a trader to live to fight another day, and survival is the real key to trading success. - George Coyle @gfc4 65/n lnk.to/marketwizardsnextgeneโ€ฆ

trading is gambling with an edge the sooner you accept this, the better the outcome of any single trade is random your A+ setup will fail, you will have losing streaks expect them

if you question yourself after a losing trade, youโ€™re doing something wrong the best traders lose; only bad traders panic when they do
