𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐥𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐰 𝐌𝐚𝐧 - 𝐚 𝐩𝐨𝐞𝐦 𝐛𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐤 A nostalgic look I rode across a valley range I hadn't seen for years. The trail was all so spoilt and strange It nearly fetched the tears. I had to let ten fences down (The fussy lanes ran wrong) And each new line would make me frown And hum a mournin' song. Oh, it's squeak! squeak! squeak! Hear 'em stretchin' of the wire! The nester brand is on the land; I reckon I'll retire, While progress toots her brassy horn And makes her motor buzz, I thank the Lord I wasn't born No later than I was.

Democrats try to outlaw guns. Democrats try to outlaw gas, oil, & coal heat. Democrats try to outlaw farms. Democrats outlaw gas cars. Democrats try to outlaw nuclear, gas, oil, & coal electrical plants. Democrats need you cold. Democrats need you hungry. Democrats need you immobile. Democrats need you defenseless. Democrats need you dependent. So they can control you completely. You'll pay Government Rent on your Government Room, buy Government Food at the Government Store with your Government Wages after you've paid your Government Taxes, so your kids can go to the Government School. You'll owe your soul to the Government Store.

This from LAST NIGHT. Southern California, no wind, middle of the night 3:00 AM, lowest level of electricity use. And power seems to be out everywhere. California politicians HATE oil, but in reality they hate all energy. Is it a failed state yet?

I am not a nice person. Nice is a vice, its an idol of our post war secular liberal culture. Being nice is what allowed the church to be castrated in the West. Niceness and fear of offending others is how women's ordination, gay marriage, abortion and mass Islamic migration went unchallenged by the vast majority of churches. Obsession with socially acceptable niceties still pervades many church leaders thinking even as our formerly Christianized culture crumbles around us. Like the Pharisees of old many senior church leaders prefer keeping up appearances and maintaining the status quo of liberalism so they don't lose their seats at certain tables that they should really be tipping over. Even among the so called biblically faithful, evangelical, orthodox leaders there is an overwhelming lean towards always being nice and never rocking the boat. I say to hell with that! Real Christianity, the faith that built Christendom and is the foundation of Western civilization, it is a faith for mighty saints, a muscular, outspoken, unapologetically bold religion based on a person's saving relationship with Jesus Christ. So no, I'm not nice. I can be kind, patient, charitable, forgiving, loving and gracious when the situation demands it. But never nice. My first allegiance is to Christ the King and His unchanging Word. I give no quarter to evil, I make no apologies for sound doctrine, I hate sin and I won't back down, be quiet or go away. We have a nation to save, a Christian culture to restore and being nice won't cut it. Who else is sick of "niceianity" and are you real Christians ready to bring the true gospel to our lands again?

Democrat Rep. Haley Stevens just walked up to the podium at a press conference following her endorsement of Republican Mike Rogers and dropped a legendary line. Stevens looked directly into the cameras to make sure there was absolutely no room for the media to twist her message. STEVENS: “My vote for Senate is going to be with Mike Rogers, and I will tell you why.” “Because WE HAVE to stand with country.” “We can’t stand with hate.” “We can’t stand with Hasan Piker.” Regardless of the politics involved, it takes a lot of guts to cross party lines and make a statement like that.
BREAKING: Mike Rogers surges in Michigan Senate race 2 days before election 32% chance he wins.

Europe has developed a pretty interesting definition of “protecting democracy.” 🇷🇴 Romania annulled a presidential election after Călin Georgescu finished first, then barred him from the rerun. 🇭🇺 Hungary’s new government rewrote the constitution with retroactive limits that block Viktor Orbán from becoming PM again and later approved rules barring long-serving MPs from the next parliamentary election. 🇩🇪 Germany’s domestic intelligence service classified the AfD as extremist, opening the door to much heavier surveillance of the country’s biggest opposition party. 🇫🇷 France upheld Marine Le Pen’s conviction, kept restrictions on her political future and ordered her to wear an electronic ankle tag. 🇪🇸 In Spain, more than a dozen people tied to Pedro Sánchez’s political and personal circle have been investigated or prosecuted in separate corruption cases, while Sánchez himself has not been charged. 🇬🇧 Britain postponed local elections during a sweeping reorganization of local government, triggering a petition accusing the government of voter suppression. 🇵🇱 And now Poland has police surrounding its Constitutional Tribunal while the government and opposition accuse each other of trying to seize control of the court. The real red line in Europe may not be democracy... It may be leaving the club. Writer: Sol

"You can cancel an election and ban the winner from running (Romania), you can ban your opponents from ever running again (Hungary), you can threaten to ban the main opposition party and subject it to relentless investigations by the secret police (Germany), you can threaten a ban on the leading presidential candidate and make them wear an ankle monitor (France), every member of your circle can be investigated for corruption (Spain), you can try and cancel local elections because you will lose them (Britain), and you can storm the constitutional court with riot police because you want to control it (Poland). You can just do all these things. The secret is you just have to be on the right side of the European Commission." Writer: Jacob Reynolds

Have you been around that crowd? THEN They mock your (straight, white) boys. Boys with the near perfect math SAT, perfect grades and years of application of skills into projects. Mocked. My 3.98 GPA son was mocked by multiple B- girls based on their job search results. Demonic.

It's happening. Poland's ambassadors are resigning in protest, Nawrocki has personally stormed the Constitutional Court, and NO ONE has come out in support of Tusk. The EU is LOSING the attempted coup. Tusk is going to be imprisoned. Keep fighting, Poland! 🇵🇱

And now we understand the absolutely rabid obsession with destroying Pete Hegseth. I’ve been in the Army since before 9/11. Served under many secretaries. Only in the past 18 months have I experienced: >politicians warning me not to follow illegal orders >billboards outside military bases telling me to report war crimes >the media attacking anyone who has a positive thing to say about the man, and defending anyone who hates him >stunning volume of leaks from senior officials trying to undermine him, and the lionizing of the leakers by the press >being called a war criminal myself, hundreds of times a day >a sustained media narrative portraying virtually every firing or senior officer removal as a “purge” >public efforts by retired officers, advocacy groups, and political figures to mobilize service members and military communities against administration policies >influential “Americans” publicly cheering for Iran This is just to name a few. I’ve NEVER experienced anything like this before. And it’s becoming abundantly clear that the concerted effort to divide the military from within was stunted when Hegseth took over. Anyone desiring color revolution needs control of the military. That’s color revolution 101. Is it starting to make sense yet? Now you see the obsession over him in particular. It’s not a coincidence. And it damn sure isn’t because of his culture war. It’s because by all objective metrics, he runs a military that snatches rogue leaders from their beds, destroys entire militaries, and successfully mobilizes assets to save one downed pilot in the middle of enemy territory by building an Air Force base… in the middle of enemy territory. Secures the border, dominates the hemisphere. Hunts drug cartels. The list goes on. He is by all meaningful accounts, effective at wielding the machine. And that is why they drool at the thought of removing him. In years past you’d be hard pressed to find a junior Soldier who knew the name of the cabinet secretary above them. Every one of them knows Pete Hegseth. Every one.
Almost like it’s important to hold the authority to deploy the security forces

My father was 21 on one of the first ships in Tokyo harbor after the war ended. He was a Machinist Mate and a Diver, and the ship's mission was to raise the floating docks the Japanese had sunk to prepare for the US occupation ships to land. His captain gave him and another 19-year-old the job of seeing if they could get what looked like an abandoned utility barge with a crane in the harbor operational to help with the work. They got in a skiff, went to the ship, and went down into the engine room to see if they could bring it to life. He went into the room; it was dark and quiet, and when he shone his flashlight, he found 18 Japanese sailors hiding in fear. One pleaded, " Please don't kill us! Not likely, as my dad only had a sidearm with 9 rounds. My dad said, "You are safe; the war is over, things will be better here than ever." Then he asked, "Who wants a job? $10 a week?" One man translated, and they all started bowing. 10 minutes later the boat was under power, and my dad returned to his ship. The Captain said, "That was quick," to which my dad replied, "She's got a good crew; by the way, there are 18 of them, you hired them for $180 a week." The captain said, "You don't have that authority." Dad replied, "But you do." He worked alongside those guys for weeks. As a diver, they raised a sunken boat in the harbor full of food, and he gave that to those 19 men for their families and others around the harbor. He ended up staying in one of those men's spare rooms for several weeks. It was the room of his son who died as a Kamikaze pilot. The war was over, and from that point on, everything was better in Japan.

In just these past two weeks we have seen: 1. Widespread civil unrest and riots in France. 2. Widespread civil unrest and riots in Albania. 3. Widespread civil unrest and riots in Italy. 4. Widespread civil unrest and riots in Spain. 5. Widespread civil unrest and riots in Portugal. 6. Widespread civil unrest and riots in Belgium. 7. Widespread civil unrest and riots in Serbia. 8. Widespread civil unrest and riots in Georgia. 9. Widespread civil unrest and an apparent judicial coup in Poland. 10. Widespread civil unrest and riots in Czechia (including an attempted takeover of the Parliament building). 11. Widespread student protests in Greece. 12. Targeted student protests in Indonesia. 13. Localized violent protests in India. 14. An apparently fraudulent election in Brazil where the presumed presidential election winner was forced to flee the country under threat of arrest by his opponent. 15. The uncovering of a Color Revolution plot in the USA led by embittered former USAID employees and ex-military members. That’s a lot to be happening all at once, don’t you think? And the USA is having midterm elections next week. You know, if I was a conspiracy-minded type I might be connecting some dots here. 🧐

When my kids read "Island of the Blue Dolphin" we camped on Catalina Island over winter break. Camping just out of the small town of Two Harbors gives the same climate and ecology as St. Nicholas. Fishing is good. If you're subsistence living, there's tons of shellfish. Plants - a native cherry! And prickly pear, which I've never learned to enjoy.

In the early 70s, I was a High School kid at a conference in Santa Barbara. Hitchhiking Got picked up by a guy, didn't say a word, wouldn't stop. I was convinced he was taking me somewhere to kill me. Had a pocket knife. Put the corkscrew between my knuckles, blade open and down. "Let me out NOW!" I was fully willing to deal with a car crash and was about to start stabbing. He pulled over, I immediately got out. Guy never said a word. I'm convinced he was " The Golden State Killer". Never put my thumb out again.

Stunning admission by California during yesterday’s Ninth Circuit hearing. California admitted they do nothing to check the citizenship status of voters and will count the illegal ballots of noncitizens who vote. This is why we’re seeking an emergency order. We cannot allow California to dilute legal votes in the upcoming election. Judge: You agree that if a non-citizen votes and we don’t stop it now, that vote will be counted, correct? California: That’s absolutely correct.
