I'm probably the earliest KAST user. The first pieces of content were from me doing interviews, using the card to buy things in different places and more. I've spent mid 6 figures on my card. I've had plenty of interactions with team members which I'll leave out of this so there's no personal feelings.
The disappointment today has nothing to do with the token itself. Since the beginning points accumulated have had a dollar value attached to it in the app because the token was promised to be backed by stables. For years users have seen this dollar amount go up while they use their cards with some even using premium cards for higher rewards.
Two years later users have nothing to show for the amount they've spent using the card except for some parties and perks to distract you. You can blame users for "farming" but these are people actually using the product every day over others because it's a good product and they thought they were part of the best reward system for a crypto card.
The current product giving you cashback that's spendable within a few weeks works great but for the people that accumulated these points expecting only what's been promised to them in the app everyday it's only right to reward them. Maybe there's no way to hold companies accountable for promises they've made that drove the growth of the company but it would be nice if we could within our industry at least.
No beaches compare to Anguilla. Yet you must purchase fruit like these in Anguilla. I enjoy having fresh fruit grow directly above my yard. Nevis is pleasant, but I miss the Spice Isle of Grenada for fruit.
Not your keys not your crypto. @avici lets you hold your keys and they haven’t added a thousand bullshit buttons to clutter their UI. No brainer fr
Definitely an inside job and psyop. Blaming AI and NK is the Go too
North Korean hackers are reportedly behind the theft of more than $6 billion in cryptocurrency from Binance.
Hey @grok, is this true? If so, how did North Korean hackers pull this off? Did Kim Jong Un order them to do it?

As I write this, billions are leaving Binance’s hot wallets in what CZ himself calls a likely hack, with Tether and Circle freezing close to two billion of it. Three days ago our validator operator had its keys compromised. Different scale, same lesson: whoever holds the key holds the asset.
Your staked SOL never left you this week, and it never could have. A validator’s keys can’t touch delegated stake. Solana working as designed.
But every validator has one key that controls it, and for three years an operator held ours. When their keys were compromised, so was our validator, and your rewards stopped with it. And whoever runs the node also has to hold its identity key, a hot key sitting on the server, which is where block rewards landed by default. However you split the other keys, the operator stood in the money’s path.
Until Alpenglow. The upgrade that went live this month is mostly talked about for finality and one-day epochs. Quietly, it also changed where a validator’s money goes: votes moved off-chain, and the owner can now point every reward stream at an account the operator never touches. Nobody had used that to take the operator out of the money’s path, as far as we can tell. We did, in a day, because we had to.
The new Solflare validator is, as far as we know, the first on Solana run by a third-party operator who holds neither the controlling key nor the rewards. The withdraw authority sits in a Solflare multisig, so nobody can take the validator from us again, and if an operator’s keys are ever compromised we rotate them and keep going. Every reward stream lands in accounts only that multisig controls. @StakingFac runs the machines with operational keys we can rotate. Ownership and operations, separated.
Staking Facilities are the people I called that night. We built @solanabeach_io with them in 2020, when SOL was under a dollar (for the new folks). Six years later, they’re still the people you call at midnight.
If your stake is still on the old Solflare validator, move it in a few taps in the app. The new one runs at a lower commission, on top of covering the rewards you missed.
Not your keys, not your coins. This week it applied to validators. Tonight it applies to the biggest exchange in the world.
Time to get your SOL earning again. Migrate in a tap.
Move your stake from Solflare (Legacy) to the new Solflare validator by November 1 and you'll receive compensation for staking rewards missed since October 26.
It will be paid to your wallet automatically during November. You don’t need to claim anything.
The migration only takes a few steps:
- Update Solflare to the latest version
- Go to Staking and tap Move your stake
- Review the details and confirm
What you get with the move?
→ Lower commission fees, meaning more rewards stay with you
→ Easy migration experience, directly in the app
→ Staking rewards resume once your stake is active on the new validator
Your SOL is safe. Let's get your stake earning again.
Sometimes I forget the way of the degenerate when it occasionally paid off! Won $25 from @avici, then proceeded to win 3 raffles on @FamousFoxFed and do a 4x on a pump shitter. Used up all my luck for the year.
Two @solanamobile devices, a Linux distribution, and a vision. I left my position to concentrate on web3. My ambitions fell short, yet next week I begin work with the sales team at one of the world’s largest neo banks. I am saying farewell to my home for a while.
