To all the homies that donated to the 249s FRT prototype: I am going to start breaking the donation list down from GiveSendGo to make discounts codes for each of you to use when the time comes. Codes may have to be sent out via email, if so, I’ll reach out to you guys and get the info then. Thank you guys for being the best customers and supporters.

I had a great discussion with my mfg for the Bolt Hold Opens yesterday. Because of so much demand for them, I decided to get another order rolling before the end of the year. These will be a few weeks behind the first batch. Hop over to Motusdevs.com @ 12:00 CST to get one secured. Only 50 available. Limit 1 per order.

We are now on Instagram as @motusdevelopment.
Will be adding content throughout the day. A share or follow would help spread the word!
Doesn’t seem like much, but to be able to print, pack, & ship from the house is kinda cool. Easy Saturday setup.
Keep your wits about you. Even in the face of so much 2a optimism, fudds still lurk in our midst.
The future is now, old man.

Millions of gun owners were just freed from much of the NFA’s tyranny.
Now, we have to make it permanent.
A right that only exists at the ATF’s discretion is a permission slip. What one administration chooses not to enforce, the next one can enforce again.
Abolish the NFA. All of it.

The Second Amendment is not a guideline. It is a constitutional guarantee that no government can disregard.
Congress must repeal the National Firearms Act and uphold every American's right to keep and bear arms.
Kill the NFA, and take the Hughes Amendment with it. @GunOwners @GunFoundation
I have been made aware of another "frt" for the m249.
This one comes from reddit and seems to be an attempt to improve the original open source design that seemed to only work on the gen 1 (pre recall) guns because they lacked a disconnector on the hammer and permitted hammer follows that resulted in detonation. Also, mind his shot strings: they are short and inconsistent. Pay close attention to the trigger and how he has to "float" it to keep the cycle from failing. These kinds of designs are dangerous and irresponsible. Act accordingly.

P.S.- @s3igu2 's FRT is way better than this.
For my USAS homies; I haven’t forgotten you.
A new hammer is the best way forward. No commercial option is viable as the radius required is different from all that I have seen. I will have 10 hammers made to accompany the 10 trips I have in hand to complete the kits.
With that said, a couple things: 1) Two (2) holes will need to be popped and tapped to make the magic happen. One (1) on the rear of the bolt carrier to affix the trip and one (1) in the lower to install the over travel block for whatever flavor AR style FRT you want to use (HT, ASD, ADG). Of course I will always offer the service, just send in your bolt carrier and lower. If you want to do it yourself, I will include the jigs in the kit at no extra charge.
This is likely to be the only run of USAS stuff that I do so if you want 1 of the 10 available, drop a DM so I can get a list going. Price for the kit (trip, hammer, over travel block, and install) is $600. $500 If you want to do the install yourself.
The 240 is done.
A few things: 1) The modification to the op rod has been greatly reduced (not eliminated) to the point that simple dimensions can be given so any basic machinist with a manual mill can accomplish (I will always offer the service). 2) A new slide hammer will be included in the kit so you may preserve your original. 3) The lower will remain the same. New parts, same lower. and 4) Adjustable cyclic rate. I haven't hammered down how far we can adjust it, yet, but when we start live fire testing, you all will be the first to know what ROF's we get from different configurations.
Testing will take place either in December or January depending on the delivery and subsequent production of the M249s FRT and the Bolt Hold Opens.
