The Falling Man

Do you remember this photograph? In the United States, people have taken pains to banish it from the record of September 11, 2001. The story behind it, though, and the search for the man pictured in...

For anyone putting loyalty to a person above loyalty to the Constitution, Justice Gorsuch’s remarks should be required reading. His words are a reminder that our highest duty is to the rule of law and the founding principles that define America.

Whatever you think of Don Lemon’s politics, arresting a journalist for covering a story — and then seeing the White House celebrate it — is chilling. This is dangerous stuff.

This is coming from someone who wants to see Trump in handcuffs and an orange jumpsuit, but pathetic effort by @cnn to follow his motorcade like the white Bronco chase and then refuse to air his brief remarks at the end of it. An example of why people mistrust the national media.

It's likely too late for the president to do much to stop what's happening right now, even if he was willing to. But he has 14 days left of his term and now he has a playbook for how he can demonstrate what he sees as power. What happens over 14 days?
