Indonesian trade data revealed that Indonesia has continued importing products from Israel despite growing public calls to boycott Israel amid the genocide in Gaza.
According to the data, the value of Indonesian imports from Israel increased from around $22 million in 2023 to more than $54 million in 2024, despite the absence of official diplomatic relations between the two sides.
The report noted that imports declined by nearly 27% in 2025, but began rising again in 2026, reflecting the continuation of trade relations through companies and the private sector.

Uang tersebut diduga berkaitan dengan rencana pemindahan titik aksi mahasiswa UBK di Istana Presiden, Jakarta Pusat.

Kepala Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak (DP3A) Konawe Selatan, Sulawesi Tenggara Siti Hafsa diduga melakukan intimidasi kepada korban dugaan pemerkosaan berinisial P (18).
Korban merupakan pekerja rumah tangga (PRT) di rumah pribadi Bupati Konawe Selatan, Irham Kalenggo. P jadi korban dugaan perkosaan yang dilakukan Candra (32) keponakan istri Irham Kalenggo, Nurlita Jaya.
Tindakan bejat pelaku dilakukan di rumah pribadi bupati Irham Kalenggo di Jl Brigjen M Yoenoes, Kelurahan Lepo-lepo, Kecamatan Baruga, Kota Kendari, pada Selasa (12/5/2026) malam.
Usai insiden, korban melaporkan kejadian itu ke Polresta Kendari.
Siti Hafsa ternyata menyusul korban.
Ia menemui P dan menawarkan agar berdamai dengan menikahi keponakan Kadis Kesehatan Konsel itu. "Dia datangi korban di polres, dia bilang, dek kenapa kamu tidak menikah saja dengan ini pelaku," ungkap kuasa hukum korban, Fadri Laulewulu kepada kendarihariini, saat dikonfirmasi, pada Senin (18/5/2026). Fadri bilang, korban menolak keras tawaran itu.
Sebab, disamping karena akan menjadi masalah baru, pelaku juga telah memiliki istri dan satu anak. "Jelas korban tidak mau," tegas Fadri.
Selain tawaran menikah, kepada korban, Siti Hafsa juga mengiming-imingi uang senilai Rp 25 juta untuk modal kuliah dan seekor sapi jika mau berdamai dengan pelaku. "Ambil mi uang peohala Rp 25 juta sebagai biaya kuliah mu. Dan ko ingat, kalau kasus ini berlanjut, namanya Bupati Konsel akan rusak, akan tercoreng," kata Fadri meniru pernyataan Kadis PPPA kepada korban.
Menurut Fadri, tindakan Kadis PPPA Konsel di luar kewenangannya. Pasalnya, lokasi kejadian berada di Kota Kendari. Ditambah lagi, kasus ini tak berkaitan dengan urusan kedinasan. "DP3 ini seharusnya melindungi dan berpihak kepada korban.
Bukan malah terkesan membela pelaku dan menyudutkan korban dengan pilihan damai.
Kadis ini sangat tidak kompeten dengan jabatannya," kesal Fadri.
Kadis PPPA Konsel, Siti Hafsa tak merespons pesan Whatsapp jurnalis kendarihariini saat dihubungi sejak Minggu (17/5/2026).

It is with great sadness that I have to report that Ahmed Hariri, a beloved journalist, paramedic and friend was killed today while carrying out his humanitarian duty attempting to rescue the injured from an Israeli airstrike. He was killed in a barbaric triple-tap attack in Deir Qanoun.

Just watched the video of the Iranian woman filming a US-Israeli double tap strike that would claim her life. The fear in her voice is palpable but she does not stutter when she declares her testament of faith - she chose to spend her final and terrifying moments, committing herself to her faith. Her voice, its tremble and strength, brought me to tears. For the past 3 years, we have seen so much similar footage come out of Gaza, out of Lebanon - last moments caught on camera, last moments drenched in fear, resistance and a clinging to God.
You don’t have to be a person of faith - I don’t even think you need to like religion, or Islam - to understand the profundity of what we are witnessing in these moments.
These are not inevitable deaths, they are engineered.
And what we are witnessing, over and over again, are human beings in their final moments - at their most vulnerable, most alone - making one last act of defiance against a world that has decided they are not worthy of continuing to live.
