not only am i not worried about the crypto community's ability to handle the upcoming ai/quantum threat, i will venture to say that in the next 2 yrs the world will realize crypto is far better prepared for it than the rest of the internet and finance. we've had a trillion dollar *irreversible* honey pot for a decade, producing a far more battletested system and adversarial security culture than pretty much anywhere else on earth.

Seeing a lot of people upset about others copying Papertrade, but I’d take it as a compliment.
If anything, it’s a signal that the market could be 10x bigger than we imagine.
First movers often have an advantage that can cement them as category leaders, as long as they don’t drop the ball.
I see the competition as validation that there’s a venture scale opportunity in microstructure trading e.g 1000x leverage, binary markets, 5–15 minute markets etc
The market is likely much bigger and it’s likely Paper will be one of the leads here

the return to dino coins trend is prob just rediscovery of old vintage projects from a time when crypto actually tried to do things (relative to now) and prior to brain drain to AI/tech (rightly so tbh)
cryptography, quantum resistance, cross chain protocols, defi, tokenization, etc
lots of junk back then also. but post 2021 environment for crypto has really just been a slew of projects that are rehashes of existing ideas (but now on chain x!) or just plain low effort; many exceptions ofc but speaking very generally about mean project
also helps that even if most of these projects were formerly VC cash grabs, enough time has passed that they are now mostly fully diluted

I love the skepticism on here. Everything is a coordinated shill. Everyone has a bag to pump.
Have you considered that sometimes an asset is just good and a bunch of people figure that out because information spreads, and that’s kind of the entire point of using this app
