Caden Rogozinski earns the nod after leading the stingiest defence in the conference 🙅
The Cougars conceded just five goals in 14 games - and Rogozinski was a big reason why.

U SPORTS MSOC: It was a historic regular season season for MRU goalkeeper Aidan Dumoulin.
Turns out he broke the record for most Canada West shutouts in a regular season with 10, and he's done it as a rookie.
MRU starts their playoffs on Friday v the TRU Wolfpack.

🚨 U SPORTS CONTRACT UPDATE 📚
Cavalry FC announced the retaining of 23-year-old goalkeeper Sterling Kerr from Mount Royal University until the end of the 2023 season, and the release of defender William Omoreniye back to the University of Calgary for the upcoming season.
Kerr joined Cavalry FC ahead of the 2023 season on a U SPORTS contract from Mount Royal University, where he made 29 appearances for the Cougars and accumulated 15 clean sheets.
Omoreniye was selected by Cavalry FC in the first round of the 2023 U SPORTS draft following a successful 2022 U SPORTS season with the University of Calgary, where he scored five goals and provided three assists in 16 appearances for the Dino’s. He was a significant member for Cavalry’s U21 side in their inaugural League1 Alberta Exhibition Series season.
We wish William the best of luck in his studies and in the upcoming U SPORTS season!
