In 1980 the voters approved a Homestead Exemption increase from $5,000 to $25,000.
In 2008 the voters approved a Homestead Exemption increase from $25,000 to $50,000.
But home values and property taxes keep going up year after year.
Now in 2026 voters have the opportunity to increase the exemption from $50,000 to $150,000 then to $250,000.
Some local elected officials claimed disaster would strike in 1980. It didn’t. They claimed in 2008 that local governments would be unable to function. Yet, they functioned just fine - and revenues kept growing.
Local officials cried wolf in 1980 and in 2008. They are doing it again now. Don’t believe the scare tactics from bureaucrats.
Stop renting your home from the government. VOTE YES ON 3!

Ya gotta laugh & cringe at the same time with Angie. One thing you can't do is take her seriously.
Filling Florida's US Senate seat with the right person is very serious.
Get to the polls and VOTE for @AshleyMoodyFL
It certainly hasn't been dormant in Jax! Eradicate DEI from all city/county policies, grants, departments & fire the DEI (Analytics) Chief Parvez Ahmed (Fmr Natl Chairman of CAIR).
After Jan 1, the Gov can boot the Mayor if she doesn't eradicate DEI.

Vote yes on 3. The homestead exemption should be inflation adjusted. Our City government owes us accountability on how our tax dollars are managed.
Folks, this is @PhilAmmann.
PLEASE HELP ME explain Socialism to Phil? He's a member of the "media" & thinks he's way smarter than us.
Last night he asked me to "define Socialism". (✔️🧵 ⬇️) I responded "The Democrat Party".
Then he got all uppity & called me an asshole...guess my 🎯 definition ruffled his feathers.

What I thought: you can't. It's impossible for you. I don't know whether it's stupidity or just arrogance, but either way, you're an asshole.

Well here's something. Gavin Newsome justifying the use of socialism as the mainstream engine to boost the Democrats.
Socialism is the Democrat Party.
UNDERCOVER: GAVIN NEWSOM SAYS THE DSA IS "GOING TO BE DOMINANT" AND "MAINSTREAM" IN THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY!
"The DSA, the energy and the desire and demand for bold change, not incremental change, is very much going to be dominant. I mean, that's going to be a mainstream Democratic movement. Absolutely. No question about that."
That's California Gov. Gavin Newsom, a likely 2028 presidential candidate, speaking to an undercover journalist while campaigning in New Hampshire.
Asked by a "younger voter" who said "we don't want Kamala Harris, we want more democratic socialist policies":
"No one is arguing to manage the status quo and fail more efficiently."
"You can't play in the margins anymore. The system's broken. It's completely unbalanced, and we can't manage the decline. We have to completely reimagine."
Anything to poison the children.
This is insanity.
Seriously? Now they want dental hygienists sticking HPV vaccines into 9-year-olds during a teeth cleaning?
West Virginia is pushing a proposal to let dentists and hygienists inject kids with the HPV shot while they’re already in the chair. Because apparently a routine dental visit isn’t enough — they need to turn it into a drive-by jab.
Parents get told it’s “more accessible.” What they don’t get is real answers, proper informed consent, or time to ask why a vaccine for a sexually transmitted virus is being pushed on preteens in a dental office.
Children deserve age-appropriate explanations. Parents deserve transparency. And expanding who can inject them should come with more than a training certificate and a sales pitch.

Tracey’s one-year-old after his “wellness” checkup and routine vaccines.
She was told the MMR was safe and in his best interest.
Then she watched her baby covered in a severe rash, hooked up to IVs, not knowing if he’d be okay.
“When people look at us like we’re crazy for not vaccinating, I just want to show them this picture.”
Never again.

With Mayor Deegan in Jacksonville after she vetoed the immigration ordinance (the one that would have blocked city grant money from aiding undocumented immigrants and required reporting), HSI is still out here making arrests. There are still some here.

JACKSONVILLE: Hallelujah! The CEO of JHA has been FIRED!
The Jacksonville Housing Authority board unanimously fired CEO Cheron Corbett Waller after she refused to resign. About time.
She’s been paid $300k a year for roughly 18 months while the waitlist exploded and the agency faced financial red flags.
Then she proposed a 12% cut of developer fees for herself and senior staff—on top of that salary—which on one project alone could’ve meant nearly $1 million in her pocket.
Board chair called it “offensive and shocking.”
She was offered a quiet exit and said no, so they terminated her (still with severance).
Public housing exists to house poor people, not to turn “affordable” development fees into a personal commission stream for the CEO.
$300k wasn’t enough? The board did its job.
