What if the reason pigdin sounds all your languages is because the languages are related? They are.

Please start teaching your children how to spell Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, they’ll need it for their civic education exam.

You are unreadable. People that write prose this way do violence to the language. They lack creative authenticity and conflate their ability to induce headache in the reader with originality. They are bad for the culture of reading and thinking in general.
Book smart?🤣 Someone who reduced Shakespearean tragedy to a barren contrivance, tortured beneath the tyranny of title-level superficiality and mangled rendition; exhibiting the affectations, and poverty of learning characteristic of those whom she’d erstwhile limned as dull?😂

It’s often always something of late, man. iPad I use for work and design has developed an issue. Now I need to fix it urgently. But I don’t even have the money for that right now. This year has just been a series of heartbreaking stressful shit and I am tired af.

We have made significant progress in redesigning the Igbo Apprenticeship System. We have now signed an agreement with a German Ausbildung programme, one of the world’s most respected vocational training systems in the world. We will be selecting 20 young people between the ages of 16 and 25 from across the five South-Eastern states for specialised training in various trades, including carpentry, plumbing, welding, masonry, and other technical skills. The selected participants will first undergo nine months of intensive German language training in Enugu before securing Ausbildung placements and relocating to Germany for specialised vocational training. Upon completing their training, they will return to Nigeria to train others, transferring their knowledge and expertise to local communities as we progressively expand the programme. Our core focus is precision, technical excellence, and world-class craftsmanship. We want to develop a generation of highly skilled professionals who can build infrastructure, transform industries, create jobs, and contribute meaningfully to the development of our society. These are the people who will build the future of our region. We are deliberately building the human capital required to transform the South East.

Work I did today: Frame one: free hand sketch. The stencil didn’t transfer as I wanted so I had to clean it and then sketch the thing with a marker. Frame two: finished work. I can barely wait to see how this heals and what it would look like when the skin is less inflamed.
I’m excited to work on the client I have booked for 11am today. The tattoo is a lovely tramp stamp, and I look forward to doing it.

Also, please try to ignore APC people this time. We outnumber them by a lot. They just have money (our commonwealth) to make themselves seem louder. Once the conversation is going beyond having a free and fair election, just leave it for them. That’s all any sensible person wants
Non-APC young people, we’ve organised before. #EndSARS was an example of what we can do together and for each other. That’s the energy we need for these elections. Only this time, many thanks to the shege BAT has shown everyone, we’re not alone anymore. Everybody is tired.

It’s weird af that any Yoruba person you disagree with is assigned an Igbo name as if being Igbo or having an Igbo name is a slur. It’s weird af.
I just came across a communiqué in which the APC Youth Leaders from the 36 states and the FCT reportedly passed a vote of no confidence on Dayo Israel Tobechukwu.

Hmmm. I visited somewhere a while ago. When we were there, we sat speaking to the host (who was significantly older to be a boss, even a parent). As we spoke, one of the "NEPO" babies joined us on the table. He was way younger but just kept contributing to the small talk. On the other hand in the same room, there was another "LAPO" baby of the same age who was too shy to come and join the table. They just sat in one part of the room, away from the conversation happening. That day, I saw the impact of wealth on audacity. Poverty robs you of more than what to eat or drink. It also takes the immediate capacity to see yourself as worthy of the table and being heard. It's why I hate it so much.
I have never seen any Nepo kid that's timid. I attended to a 10 year old kid a few days ago at the pharmacy. Before clerking her,she asked me,"are you a licensed pharmacist?" I nodded in affirmative and she said I could attend to her. Lapo kids don't have that level of audacity

22 years ago, my dad died, and my life was changed in a fundamental way. Every year on this day, I expect a different flavour of grief, and I often post a tribute to my father because yes, HRH Eze Dr. Monday Achilefu Nwangwa was a phenomenal person. But today, the grief is not for the loss of my first best friend, even though I still miss him. Today, the grief is for my 8 year old self who not only lost her father and favourite person in the world at the time, but gradually lost the joys of being a child because adult males thought a child, who lost her father, and whose mother wasn’t often around because she had to work twice as hard to ensure all our material needs were met, was free game for them to sexually assault and abuse. I wonder the person I would have been without all this pain shaping me. I guess I’d never know. So, today, I’ll read “Hold Me in Love, Hide Me in God”, an essay I wrote about that childhood pain and how it shaped my life, I’ll hug myself tight. I’ll pray that some days there’s less to grieve about. Say a prayer for me if that’s your thing.
