New metro definitions published!
This is the big decennial update. Plus, it includes -- for the first time -- Connecticut metros defined using planning regions instead of counties.

A rare look into patterns of business ownership among Mexican and Central American unauthorized immigrants
Replying to @msomashe
Data are hard to come by, but between 1996 & 2008, the SIPP asked questions that can be used to estimate the number of Mexican and Central American undocumented immigrants who owned businesses. I estimate there were up to 140,000, comprising 0.63% of all U.S. business owners.

Massive status bias in peer review.
534 reviewers randomized to review the same paper revealing the low status, high status, or neither author. 65% reject low status, 23% reject high status.
Amazing work by Juergen Huber and colleagues. #prc9
