Digital skills are more than just learning to use technology; they’re about opening doors to new opportunities.
Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Moses Kisaka, C/M Education Commission, Archdiocese of Tororo, urged the 390 graduates to put their new skills to work in pursuing employment, growing businesses and improving their livelihoods.
He also commended MTN and Maendeleo Foundation for bringing digital learning closer to communities.

The impact keeps growing.
Since 2022, over 7,000 young people and women have benefited from our Digital & Financial Literacy Programme, with completion rates exceeding 90%.
Today’s graduation in Manafwa is part of our continued commitment, alongside Maendeleo Foundation, to bringing digital skills closer to more communities across Uganda.

And the learning goes beyond the classroom.
Over the past three weeks, the graduates have gained practical skills in computer operations, microsoft applications, internet searches, online communication, responsible internet use and introductory AI.
Future ready skills that they can now put to work in their studies, businesses and search for employment.
That’s what making digital inclusion a reality looks like.

Guess What! We are in Manafwa District. 💛
390 young people and women are celebrating a big milestone today, and we’re here for it.
We’re at Holy Family Catholic Church in Butiru, celebrating graduates who have completed three weeks of hands-on digital skills training through our partnership with @MaendeleoFdn.
More updates to follow.
