birds eye view of what’s happening and what’s about to happen in ai x hard science:
ai is making really impressive progress in pure math (quasi riemann), theoretical cs (eth), theoretical physics (yang-mills), and foundational biochem (the alphafolds of the world).
what it appears to be doing is a smart brute force search of the entire corpus that our civilization has built so far, and piecing together existing results. it’s clearing out a massive historic backlog.
what i think is going to happen soon (2 yrs?) is we are going to finish all the low hanging fruit before hitting a wall. for 2 reasons:
1) we still don’t have einstein-level intelligence (aka the einstein test): einstein did not merely build on top of existing theorems and experimental results. he challenged the very axioms, eg the speed of light is constant and space-time is flexible. it’s unclear to me if the current trajectory of ai will get us there. maybe it still ends up being a search problem, but the set of possible axioms is literally infinite whereas our existing corpus is finite so this seems like a much harder search problem.
2) we are advancing theory much faster than empirical science as we are going to be bottlenecked by the speed and cost of experiments in the physical world. take bio for example, yes ai is going to help find targets and molecules more efficiently, but we are always going to have to run clinical trials where the binding constraints are lack of participants, regulations, and time itself for longitudinal analysis. in physics we already have a half century of beautiful but non-falsifiable theory and this will get worse.
tl;dr: the wall is coming in ai x science. after that, progress is gated by two things no amount of compute fixes: einstein-level intelligence that questions the axioms themselves, and a physical world that runs at its own speed.
5.5% of the FWA token has now been burned from protocol usage, with 0.2% burned just yesterday.
Nearly 75,000 NFT purchases on v2
Fake World Assets
I've been friends with Lucréce for 5 years at this point, so happy we got to work together to release the collection via Fake World Assets.
This was the first time 4k+ new NFTs have been launched into the pool, and I think the system works

a truth hidden in plain sight: every big tech and frontier lab is going to become a bio company
- google: demis' alphafold & isomorphic
- meta & microsft: esm & bioemu protein models
- nvidia: bionemo software stack for biochemical models, joint lab with eli lilly
- openai & anthropic: both making the rounds about breaking into bio, strong bio reasoning models, wet lab
- elon's empire: likely crossover between neuralink and xai (eg controlling ai with ur mind)
- apple & amazon: not as frontier, but consumer health devices, onemedical acquisition, pharmacy
mastering the most complex machine created by nature/god (the human body) is the ultimate test of superintelligence

Too early to know if Muse adoption fades or has staying power.
But one thing is already obvious: distribution is an unfair advantage in mass market consumer products. $META
Oh man we really gonna gap straight ATH on meta huh I undersized
$META’S MUSE IS OUTPACING CHATGPT’S EARLY MOBILE LAUNCH ON SEVERAL METRICS
Muse reached 2.8M downloads in its first 12 days, across both app stores.
On a more comparable U.S. + Canada iOS basis:
• Muse: 1.8M downloads in first 12 days
• ChatGPT: 1.3M
Muse also set a new U.S. daily download record of 264K on Sept. 19, its 3rd straight day above 200K.
ChatGPT didn’t cross 200K U.S. daily downloads until roughly a year after launch.
Engagement is also running ahead:
- Muse reached 448K U.S. DAUs by day 10
- ChatGPT took 49 days to reach roughly 450K U.S. DAUs
- By day 12, Muse was at 642K U.S. mobile DAUs vs. 231K for ChatGPT at the same point
- Even restricting Muse to U.S. iOS, DAUs were 359K

For the first time on Robinhood, you can turn a portfolio of assets into productive liquidity, use that liquidity as collateral, and borrow against it without unwinding the underlying position.
Your portfolio becomes liquidity → liquidity earns fees → liquidity becomes collateral → unlocks more capital.
The same capital can now exist across multiple layers of DeFi at once.
The first leveraged Omnipool contains 5 tokenized stocks:
$ETH + $NVDA + $SPCX + $GOOGL + $AAPL
You keep exposure to the underlying assets while turning them into productive capital that earns fees from trading across the pool.
When providing liquidity, you receive a $BIGTECH receipt token representing your share of the entire Omnipool.
That receipt token can now be deposited into a Morpho lending market as collateral to borrow USDG.
The underlying assets remain inside the Omnipool generating trading fees while the position representing them is simultaneously being used as collateral.
That means you can:
Hold assets → provide liquidity → earn fees → collateralize the position → borrow USDG → deploy that capital elsewhere or loop it back in for more exposure.
This is made possible because we've built an oracle that tracks each stock, rather than the Omnipool itself. If a user gets liquidated, an arbitrage bot can buy the $BIGTECH position, instantly withdraw the assets inside it, and then sell them into liquid markets.
An entire multi-asset liquidity position has become a composable piece of collateral, and that's just the beginning of what Omnipools are capable of.
There are trillions of dollars of assets that will ultimately come onchain, and tokenizing them is only step one.
The much bigger opportunity is making those assets productive, composable and usable across multiple layers of DeFi at once.
Everyone will earn.
The first leveraged Omnipool is now live.
Everyone will earn.

At first glance, an @EARNONHOOD Omnipool might look similar to an index or ETF style product, but it is way more powerful than that.
Normally, you just get exposure to a group of assets. But with an Omnipool, those assets sit inside a single shared liquidity pool, so you get exposure while the portfolio actively generates fees and yield.
Since these pools are permissionless, anyone can create an Omnipool around the tokens they already hold. This is huge for tokenized stocks and RWAs, but we're already seeing users put memes and alts into pools too.
This unlocks an entirely new layer of liquidity on Robinhood, and we are pushing it further through composability.
Every Omnipool has a receipt token representing ownership of the underlying pool. That receipt token gives you single-token exposure to the entire portfolio, while the underlying assets continue providing liquidity and earning yield.
It can then become a building block for other layers of DeFi, from secondary liquidity markets to collateral, lending and leverage. This is where it becomes a completely different primitive that goes far beyond indexes, ETFs, or baskets. You keep exposure to multiple tokens while they generate yield, and can then leverage it and compound it in other protocols.
Omnipools are permissionless, flexible and built to make any portfolio productive, whether it contains tokenized stocks, memes or any other onchain asset.
Any user can now turn their portfolio into yield, and EARN is building the only primitives that can scale to billions of dollars in assets, with entirely new markets built on top of it.
All of these pools generate fees that go to burning $EARN, and as the network expands it deepens the liquidity for EARN as a base asset. The growth of the protocol is directly tied to the value given back to token holders.
Everyone will earn.

Shroom v2 is cooking. We're making a number of important upgrades & changes to support the long term health of the protocol and the SHROOM token:
- SHROOM collected as fees from pools will be burned
- Stonks collected as fees will get added as single-sided liquidity to absorb sell pressure
- Zero Fee Pools + Hooks to drive volume, arbitrage, and burn SHROOM
Before, Shroom has been compounding all fees into more liquidity. This made sense in the early days, but made it hard to drive value to the token today. From now on, all SHROOM collected as fees will be burned.
Second, the stocks collected as fees will be used to create single-sided uniswap LPs. This supports liquidity in the stock pairs, and will create deep liquidity across a variety of SHROOM prices to absorb sell pressure into the token. The benefit of doing single sided liquidity is that upside liquidity (e.g. to absorb buys) will remain thin, helping price discovery and volatility, while absorbing downside.
Third, in the past 24 hours, we've started exploring 0 Fee pools to generate arbitrage volume. This aids with the ultimate goal of driving volume in stock pairs through SHROOM, and also creates arbitrage opportunities that generate volume and fees in the monetized SHROOM pools.
We're going to take this idea one step further, and add v4 Hooks to these pools that burn SHROOM on transaction. This means that the user will pay a similar or lower fee to a traditional v3 pool (as the base fee will remain zero), but we're still able to burn SHROOM through the flow, while maintaining the arbitrage route. This hook will likely take some time to finish building, testing, and move into production responsibly.
🍄 SHROOM grows at Night 🍄
