The amount of media people, (some not all), over the last few days posting tributes to their ‘dear’ or ‘close’ friend Sinead O’Connor makes my stomach turn, especially due to the fact a few of them were publicly lambasted by Sinead for their treatment of her.

A heart-breaking moment saved in an SS picture of deportations of Hungarian Jews at Auschwitz II-Birkenau. It was taken 79 years ago, most likely in late May 1944.
A little child found a dandelion in the grass and is handing it or showing it to an older boy. All the people in this picture were waiting to be killed in gas chamber. They were murdered some time later.

Berthold Wolpe created the Albertus typeface in the 1930s for the British branch of Monotype and named it after German philosopher and theologian Albertus Magnus. He often used it when designing jackets for Faber. My guess is he did this beauty. @Wolpe
