Predsednik Nawrocki bo zagotovo storil vse za vzpostavitev normalnih odnosov z Rusijo potem, ko se je izkazalo, da je bilo zgodnje sporočilo ruske varnostne službe o prihajajočem državnem udaru na Poljskem resnično!

🇵🇱 BREAKING: President Nawrocki pushes his way into the Constitutional Tribunal in the middle of the night
After an emergency meeting at the Presidential Palace, President Karol Nawrocki and Supreme Court First President Zbigniew Kapiński drove to the Tribunal shortly after midnight, where protesters greeted him chanting "Karol! Karol!"
According to Radio Maryja, police pushed back officers of Nawrocki's own State Protection Service before he made it through. Paweł Szefernaker, head of the President's Office, confirmed that Nawrocki and Kapiński entered the building.
The other side tells a different story. Maciej Berek, one of the Tusk-majority judges and a longtime close aide of Tusk, claimed the president never made it inside and accused him of "physically attacking" Anna Korwin-Piotrowska and the other judges.

“Are you going to shoot at us?” - that is the question I asked police officers outside Poland’s Constitutional Tribunal in Warsaw on 30 October.
In this video, I read out a document marked “VERY URGENT!” bearing the name and signature of Poland’s Deputy Chief of Police. It orders designated riot police units to remain fully prepared for immediate deployment from 2 to 8 November. The equipment listed includes handguns, submachine guns, bulletproof vests, helmets and backpack-mounted pepper spray devices.
I speak directly to the officers because behind every uniform is a human being. Someone who must understand the orders they carry out and who those orders affect. The police are there to protect citizens, including when they protest and oppose those in power.
I am also sharing this video for audiences outside Poland. I want the world to hear the questions being asked outside the seat of Poland’s constitutional court.

JUST IN: 🇵🇱 Statement by the President of the Republic of Poland, Karol Nawrocki following last night's coup attempt by liberal Prime Minister Donald Tusk:
“Last night, the constitutional order of the Republic of Poland was violated and a constitutional state body was taken over by force. I have held consultations with the First President of the Supreme Court, Zbigniew Kapiński, who likewise does not recognise as legal the actions taken by persons usurping power in the Constitutional Tribunal.
I call for the restoration of the legal order and for the coercive forces sent there by the government to leave the Tribunal’s premises.
I have facilitated access to the Constitutional Tribunal for its lawfully serving Vice-President, Judge Bartłomiej Sochański.
In view of the threat to the internal security of the Republic of Poland, I am convening urgent consultations today with representatives of the parliamentary groupings, aimed at stabilising the political situation and restoring the constitutional order.
I thank everyone who is at the Constitutional Tribunal, standing in defence of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland.”

🇵🇱 HOE KWAM TUSK WEER AAN DE MACHT?
Polen heeft zowel een president als een premier. De president is het staatshoofd, terwijl de premier de dagelijkse leiding over de regering heeft.
Tusk was voorzitter van de Europese Raad in Brussel – een van de belangrijkste functies binnen de EU. Een riant salaris en veel aanzien. In 2021 keerde hij terug naar Polen om de leiding over zijn oude partij, het Burgerplatform (Civic Platform), weer op zich te nemen.
In oktober 2023 vonden de parlementsverkiezingen plaats. De partij PiS ('Recht en Rechtvaardigheid') behaalde weliswaar de meeste stemmen als individuele partij, maar wist geen meerderheid te behalen. Tusk vormde vervolgens een coalitie van drie partijen: zijn eigen Burgercoalitie, de 'Derde Weg' en 'Links'.
Samen beschikten zij over net genoeg zetels om de macht over te nemen. President Duda moest Tusk daarom de kans geven om een regering te vormen, waardoor hij in december 2023 opnieuw premier werd.
Hoe wist hij te winnen?
Hij won niet in het conservatieve, op het platteland wonende deel van de bevolking, waar veel arbeiders wonen. Zijn winst kwam uit de grote steden – Warschau, Gdańsk, Wrocław – en hij richtte zijn campagne op liberale vrouwen uit de middenklasse en jonge afgestudeerden die zichzelf liever als 'Europeaan' dan als 'Pool' zien.
Polen heeft goed beveiligde grenzen. Het land kent geen grootschalige immigratie en heeft daardoor geen ervaring met de uitdagingen die daarmee gepaard gaan.
Er is geen sprake van immigratie uit landen als Somalië of Afghanistan. De meeste mensen daar hebben nooit te maken gehad met de situaties die wij in Engeland wel hebben gekend. Het is dan ook makkelijk om liberaal te stemmen als je zelf niet met de gevolgen hoeft te leven.
Waarom zou hij een comfortabele baan bij de EU in Brussel opgeven om terug te keren?
Omdat Brussel hem terug wilde in Warschau. De partij PiS vormde een obstakel voor het Europese federalisme. Zij wilden hun eigen munteenheid (de zloty) behouden, hun goudvoorraden in eigen beheer houden, hun grenzen beschermen en zeggenschap over hun eigen rechtspraak behouden. Voor Duitsland en Brussel vormden zij een probleem.
Tusk is hun man in Warschau. Hij werd teruggehaald om de controle over de rechtspraak en het Constitutioneel Tribunaal over te nemen, de grenzen open te stellen en Polen bij de eurozone te voegen.
Dat is de reden van zijn terugkeer. Niet voor Polen – maar voor Brussel.

🇪🇺🇷🇺 G20 in Atlanta: Kein gemeinsames Gruppenfoto wegen Sergej Lawrow
Beim G20-Außenministertreffen in Atlanta ist das traditionelle gemeinsame „Familienfoto“ abgesagt worden. Hintergrund ist offenbar der Widerstand europäischer Minister dagegen, gemeinsam mit dem russischen Außenminister Sergej Lawrow abgelichtet zu werden.
Der deutsche Außenminister Johann Wadephul machte die Haltung deutlich: „Mit Russland gibt es keine Normalisierung.“
Die USA entschieden schließlich, das Gruppenfoto vollständig zu streichen, um zu verhindern, dass der Streit die eigentlichen Gespräche überschattet.
Der Vorfall zeigt, wie stark der Ukraine-Krieg weiterhin die internationale Diplomatie prägt. Selbst ein symbolischer gemeinsamer Auftritt wird zum politischen Signal. Die Gesprächskanäle bleiben zwar offen, von einer Rückkehr zur Normalität zwischen Russland und Europa ist man jedoch weit entfernt.
