Tell me about it.
Tina Fey admits she judges rich people who keep launching side hustles when they already have hundreds of millions of dollars
Tina Fey: “I don’t get excited about money. If I’m safe and I have enough money to live, I have a problem with rich people having a side hustle.”
Amy Poehler: “Yeah, you mean like a podcast or something?”
Tina Fey: “No, that is you’re doing work. I’m saying, if you sold, like… where would my line be for you? Where would I draw the line?”
Amy Poehler: “Yeah, I know what you mean. Like if I had a rosé.”
Tina Fey: “If you already have, like, $200 million and you’re like, ‘Also, I need you to…’”
Amy Poehler: “But Tina, this is where you have to learn from Gen Z. I’m sorry, and we have to.”
Tina Fey: “They don’t care. They don’t judge it. They don’t judge it.”

I think it’s better when he does Kill Tony instead of the Ai thing
SAM ALTMAN, HALF A PINT IN: "I'M ACTUALLY PROBABLY NOT SUPPOSED TO SAY THIS, BUT I WILL SINCE WE'RE DRINKING."
Then he told John Collison about one weekend at OpenAI, when a new model came in. There was a channel called "Model Name - Hold My Beer," and people threw at it:
- The hardest research problems of their academic careers
- Problems from many different fields
- Things nobody thought the model could do
"The model was just knocking down one after the other." Altman stayed up two nights in a row, too excited to sleep.
And it wasn't cheap. He says the Navier-Stokes proof alone cost around $10 million. Asked if all the math ran to hundreds of millions of dollars, he said "that kind of work," and added that it "includes much more other discovery than what we have published."
Then the part that surprised even him:
"I also had much more sadness and melancholy, and a feeling of something ending than I was expecting."
OpenAI has found more than it has shown you. And the man who has seen it sounds sad.

The "foodie" trend began under millennials. Could have bought shares of Apple for $12 and Tesla for $2 instead of "gourmet burgers."
