One of my absolute favorite parts of the Bible is 1 Kgs 19. Elijah’s crash-out. I don’t blame him! Jezebel wanted him 💀 He’d previously had 450 Baal prophets executed. 😅 gutsy God lets Elijah sleep, feeds him, lets him sleep again & then gives him a job.

In a funk after I was reminded today of my autism and ADHD. Forgot that my baseline is different, and I don’t get to have a life and brain like most people. It has benefits, but those times when it hits you hard suck 😣 💔 The hormone swings from perimenopause sure don’t help.

I think after studying, I now view “Satan’s little season” as a final surge of evil in the end days before judgment. Revelation didn’t already happen. That’s way too literal of a reading and clearly evil is still here. Revelation is apocalyptic literature, and wasn’t considered a literal prediction of future events. It was addressing systems that reject God, using known and understood symbolic and archetypal. John invokes Daniel, and Sinai theophany imagery. It’s still talking about both John’s era and ours. And future events like annihilating evil and immortality on the restored earth. We’re experiencing similar things, and evil and chaos is escalating. We could be in the “great tribulation” now. It’s not about a chronological timeline. Im even leaning against there being a “mark” we’ll need to get tattooed on forehead or hand to buy food. Accepting the mark of the beast is probably just rejecting the Holy Spirit. I think it was a recurring pattern of systems John was talking about that’s found in countries around the world. We are becoming more and more enslaved to a beast-like system run by corrupted leaders who have turned away from God. I think hell is annihilation. I don’t think what John perceived and wrote was intended to be read literally. Revelation is one of my favorite books. 😅

I’ve been thinking about how some Christians live with fear about their salvation. God’s not going to snatch it away if we have a bad week! Scripture never tells believers to live like that. The Bible teaches us to stand firm and believe that the God who saved us is the God who won’t abandon us. ✝️ About us in Romans 8:30, Paul says God foreknew, called, justified, and will glorify us. Paul even puts “glorified” in the past tense to show how certain it is. Salvation is not fragile or hanging on by a thread. Jesus said: “Whoever comes to Me I will never cast out” (John 6:37). Paul said: “He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion” (Philippians 1:6). John said: “We have confidence on the day of judgment” (1 John 4:17).

Only at Twitter/X do I see “physiognomy doesn’t lie” and “you’re dysgenic” 🤡 That is racist pseudoscience. In genetics, variance refers to how much a trait differs from the average. Most people inherit combos that express predictable characteristics in sensory, emotional, metabolic, and cognitive areas. High‑variance individuals inherit combinations from multiple populations that produce more unusual mixtures. When these mix, the number of possible trait combinations increases. The result is COMPLEXITY (not instability). A person may have distinctive hair texture, various skin tones, freckles, uncommon eye color, and even varied shoulder‑to‑hip ratios. Neurologically, high‑variance phenotypes often show increased sensitivity because their brains process more information from the environment, notice subtler patterns, and respond more intensely to emotional or sensory stimuli. This can mean heightened sensory sensitivity, anxiety, addiction vulnerability, autoimmune tendencies, or atypical endocrine patterns (PCOS). **This does not imply disorder or decline.** Historically, individuals with these traits were often: Interpreters Healers Storytellers Pattern‑readers Scouts Symbolic thinkers HIGH-VARIANCE creates creativity, neurodivergence, intuition, pattern recognition, symbolic thinking, depth, meaning, emotional intelligence, and sensitivity. Modern society rewards: Speed Assertiveness Dominance Efficiency High stress tolerance Low sensitivity Rigid schedules Executive function Sensitive systems reveal stress sooner, and are mismatched to the current environment. Under that pressure, high‑variance people may react more strongly to stress, trauma, endocrine disruptors, sleep disruption, modern pace, and social fragmentation. Physiognomy and dysgenic are words used for ideological purposes. And fear. “Different” isn’t bad, scary, weak, or indicative of decline.

Some people think Revelation is 100% literal and God has angels “worshiping” Him 24/7. Do you realize that what John saw is only what his human mind and experience were able to conjure. He was witnessing God’s energy and power and the “angels” who work for (serve) Him. They saw thrones and horses and scrolls, chariots, fire, jewels. These were things they knew and had symbols for.

If I had animals and didn’t have to work, I’d be hanging out with them all day. We’d read the Bible and talk to God. I’d talk to them as if they could understand me. 🤭
