I enjoyed being a panellist discussing Europe and the UK in the world last night. Hosted by @KingsCollegeLon with a joint report with the @hsf_uk, my main point was the future may no longer be multilateral, but it need not be unilateral. It can be plurilateral - eg #CPTPP!

🙌👏🙌 #Bürokratieabbau gerade auf der europäischen Ebene tut Not. Doch ist Entbürokratisierung nicht gleich Deregulierung. Nötig ist eine Prozessdigitalisierung, „Smart Regulation“ und strukturelle Reformen um regulatorische Belastungen für die Wirtschaft zu reduzieren.
