I’ve seen a lot of new faces around here lately, and I just realized I’ve never done an introduction. So, here goes… Hi, I’m Ochai.. 👋🏾 I’m a Freelancing, Tech, and Personal Growth Creator and Coach. I’ve been freelancing for 6 years, earning over $300K, and now help young Africans build sustainable careers through freelancing and tech. I’m an advocate of getting 1% better every day, not chasing overnight transformation. I treat freelancing as a systems and worldview game. Not a “templates and formats” game. For my clients, I write and manage SEO content for B2B brands in tech and business. I also coach African freelancers on how the game actually works. Not how it's supposed to work. How it actually works. And I help aspiring tech professionals figure out what to learn, how to break in, and how to build a career from it. So far: ✅ $300K+ earned across platforms. ✅ $150K+ earned on Upwork specifically, where I'm a Top Rated Plus freelancer. ✅ 250+ student testimonials. ✅ 30,000+ freelancers impacted through courses, webinars, and live events. (Click the link in my bio to learn from me.) I also hold a First Class BSc in Cybersecurity, which mostly means I think in systems and think I can spot a scam from three miles away. (Let’s not test that, please. That’s not why we’re here.) 😂 I founded Freelancers Corner, a free and fast-growing community for African talents going global. I’m also currently building Jaar, the trust layer for social commerce. Outside work I'm a gym rat, off-and-on chess player, anime fan, and knowledge lover. Oh, and I have a slight sarcasm problem. You've been warned. 🫵🏾 Here's what to expect from me here: I talk about freelancing, Upwork, tech, personal growth, and the realities of building a global career from Africa. Expect practical systems, hard-earned lessons, and the occasional uncomfortable truth delivered with a smile (sometimes). (ignore the attached picture, I actually bite… most times). Lastly, pounded yam is the greatest meal ever discovered. Repost for a young African building a career through freelancing, remote work, or tech. 🔁 Follow along. Let's grow. See you up top. 🔝

Raenest stuffed me up with so many gifts I’ll probably have to buy another bag and pay more for extra luggage for my flight back, chai. 🫩 Really, really love them though! Thank you for having me @RaenestApp. 🙌🏾❤️

Top, top guy! Met @iamKingRobert for the first time yesterday and we interacted like we’ve been friends since childhood. It was such a huge pleasure meeting you, my Chief! 🙏🏾❤️

One of the highlights of my day yesterday @RaenestApp was spending time with @ekwyfreedom32 and @adeife_adeoye. Two gorgeous, brilliant, and exceptional women in the tech and remote work space. Their energy is unmatched fr >>>>

Kai, e dey always hard to find me for this kind settings. I was with @Finaltoucch almost the whole night. We literally came and left together, but we don’t have a single picture together. I really need to do better, man. 😂🤦🏾‍♂️ No, no. I WILL do better.

Good morning from your latest award winner! Had such a wonderful time yesterday, man! Interacted with so many amazing people yesterday. But now my social battery is currently on life support. I need like a day or two indoors to recharge. 😂 Omo, I feel like I was beaten with a stick all night and I still have notifications piled up idk where to start. I’ll tell you guys about my day and probably post pictures later. (Ignore the face, I’m happy, I promise. 😂) Anyways, how are you doing today?

Grateful and honored to be recognized by @RaenestApp. Motivation to keep showing up. ❤️

My first public speaking engagement is in a few hours and I just can't get something out of my head...

Speaking at the Raenest Exchange 2026 soon
