When I’m debating whether or not an idea is worth pursuing I like to ask myself the following questions:
1) The first is a sort of passion test. How excited am I by this idea? With no financial constraints how big can this get? What does it look like in 10 years?
Explained blockchain and crypto to my mom today. When you communicate concisely & with empathy people understand you. Seeing her excited about innovation despite being in her mid-50s was a special moment as we often don’t place enough importance on challenging our viewpoints.

Always aiming for "clean code" can be paralyzing.
When starting out, I always wanted to code everything ✨ the right way ✨ which prevented me from building anything real.
Only when I let go of that mentality and just focused on building stuff is when I really learned to code.
Cannot agree with this more. People who consistently try to use big words are usually compensating for some insecurity.
There’s an astronaut who talks about the importance of seeing the body as just another system while training to go to space. Imagine if everyone adopted this perspective and how in control people would become of their physical and mental outcomes
I’m so fascinated by our bodies. Like everything else they’re a system which we can largely control. If we can improve cognitive function, why wouldn’t we? Nowadays I think a lot about how we can use software to improve and monitor key health metrics

A single ethereum transaction uses the same amount of energy as running a central a/c unit for over 54 hours.
A single bitcoin transaction? 555 hours. Or over a month for your avg household.

Every company on Earth is becoming a media company.
So if you learn to:
• Film
• Code
• Write
• Speak
• Design
• Tell stories
You become an immediate 10x asset for any company on Earth.
Or, even better, you can become your own company.
8) And lastly, is this idea a net positive for humanity?
I think this can be achieved by both the product and the content you distribute. What does your brand really stand for? I think this should be authentic and impressive.
I’m sure there are other key questions I’m missing. Would love to hear if you have any.
