Behind every cardiovascular statistic is a woman, a story and a life worth protecting.
These patient advocates remind us why women's heart health matters.
From evidence to action. From survival to quality of life.
Progress is measured in lives improved, not conferences convened.

Menopause is not heart disease. But midlife is an important window for cardiovascular prevention.
The priority is not to medicalise menopause, but to recognise evolving risk, investigate symptoms appropriately and intervene early.
Women's heart health requires a life-course approach.

Now publ in EHJ: In 3 RCTs (n=704), 2-3-mo Rx w/DOACs (low dose in 2 trials) ↓ device-related thrombosis (DRT) and major bleeding c/w DAPT, with NS Δ in death and stroke/SE. DRT has been associated with thromboembolic events, and the RR of 0.61 for stroke/SE favors DOAC use.
