Honored to meet #Abdirahman and @naciimo20 during NCOF 2026, where Somalia’s Deyr, climate outlook and El Niño impacts were discussed.
Forecasts must trigger action. Early warnings must reach communities, decisions must come early, and climate information must protect lives.

We are unkind and Merciless! Period….
I CANNOT stop thinking about this man.
He was hungry. He was sick. He pleaded, “Abti, I have done nothing wrong.” He was not asking for wealth or privilege, he was asking for mercy and the chance to live. Yet he was killed.
His frightened face and painful words should never be forgotten. He was a human being who deserved food, medical care, protection, and compassion. Why why why?
May Allah forgive him, grant him Jannatul Firdaws, and give his loved ones strength and patience. Tooo 😭
