DOGGING QUESTIONS: A Virginia lawmaker says a voting-rights restoration certificate bearing Gov. Abigail Spanberger's signature was issued in the name of Biscuit, a beagle-hound mix from Goochland County that died five years ago and, according to its owner, was never convicted of a felony.
Del. Tom Garrett is demanding an independent audit of the governor's rights-restoration process, questioning how a certificate bearing a deceased dog's name could state that the executive branch had reviewed the particulars of a criminal case.
The discovery comes just days before Virginians vote on whether to make voting-rights restoration automatic upon release from incarceration â and follows another disputed certificate issued in the name of "Betty No Last Name."

Video recorded at @uofutah captured an alleged attack by a far-left trans militant who uses the name âAmber Grace.â The victim was a College Republicans member. The trans person, a man, is facing charges of assault and property damage.
Far-left groups immediately said that âAmberâ was the victim of the attack by being recorded and that he shouldnât face any legal accountability.
The chilling call to leftist violence from the trans militant follows a pro-trans gunman allegedly assassinating Charlie Kirk on an Utah campus.

The Czech Republic has officially criminalized the promotion of communist movements that suppress human rights, placing them on the same legal footing as Nazi movements.
The amendment, signed by President Petr Pavel, explicitly targets anyone who establishes, supports or promotes Nazi, communist or other movements seeking to suppress fundamental freedoms or incite racial, ethnic, religious, national or class hatred.
Offenders face prison sentences ranging from one to five years, with additional provisions addressing the distribution of extremist propaganda and symbols.
The legislation follows decades of debate over the country's communist past. Czechoslovakia endured more than four decades of communist one-party rule, beginning in 1948 and ending with the peaceful Velvet Revolution in 1989.
Supporters, including historians from the Institute for the Study of Totalitarian Regimes, argued that communist totalitarianism should be treated as seriously as Nazism under criminal law.
