I expected @madeleine to roar for many more years. This is a deeply sad loss at a time when her voice was so important. She was a force we needed.
Deeply saddened to hear of @madeleine's passing. We've lost a great champion for a better world. Honored to have supported her efforts as part of @USIP's taskforce on preventing extremism in fragile states. @nancylindborg Deepest condolences to family & friends.

Hard to believe we might lose rights that were upheld nearly a half century ago. All people should be able to access the health care they want, build the families they want, & make decisions about their bodies and lives. #SCOTUS #RoeVWade

According to a @PPC_UMD public consultation survey, a #carbontax - with revenues distributed to households - is supported by 62% of voters, including majorities in very red (54%) to very blue (77%) Congressional districts. vop.org/six-in-ten-voters-fa…
The White House and at least 49 senators support a proposal to impose an almost $20 per-ton fee on carbon as part of Biden's climate-and-spending legislation trib.al/BePKtXw

This is a huge opportunity to demonstrate how government can deliver for the people who need help the most; we need a #Justrecovery for a better future.
The #AmericanRescuePlan has the potential to reverse years of growing inequality. It’s time for #philanthropy to lean in to ensure that the benefits promised by #ARPA will endure. bit.ly/3knnP5l

Texas #SB8 bans #abortion before most people know they’re pregnant and is devastating to women’s rights and #reproductivejustice. We're committed to a future where gender and racial justice are the norm, people control their lives and bodies, and can access abortion with dignity.

Thanks @pauldrisley and hope you are well. Absolutely true—sadly. With many thoughts and prayers for all the courageous Burmese aid workers and activists who continue risking their lives there.
Replying to @nancylindborg
#Myanmar also reeling from coup, conflict, #COVID19 and at EXTREME risk from #ClimateCrisis . Coastal zone soils in Arakan State, from where #Rohingya were displaced, are already too salinated for arable crops, droughts are severe in Magway region. Pls add #Burma to your list.
