Bail is right but the police has to do their duty and as told by Vijay that all those who are corrupt will be brought to books and that is what he has done. We don't have any problem in that but the DMK says that the police have arrested in an advocate's chamber, I mean advocate's office, not chamber, office. I don't think there is any rule that you cannot arrest a person, an accused from advocate's office. Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reacting to the escape of 17 inmates from Theni Jail, the apprehension of 15 inmates by police so far, and tightened security across all 125 jails, BJP spokesperson Narayanan Thirupathi says, “This is what they said immediately after Nirmal Kumar became the Minister, around four or five months ago, and now this has happened. There are reports that more than 50 inmates have escaped from jails over the past six to seven months. This points to the government’s maladministration and mismanagement. The authorities appear to have no clarity on why or how this happened. The escape of 17 inmates from a jail is not an ordinary matter, as they are trying to portray it. This is unacceptable..."
The Tamil Nadu government has increased auto fares, but it is difficult to see any real benefit from this move. It is ridiculous that the government and its officials continue to believe that auto drivers charge only the officially fixed rates.
When demanding arbitrary fares, speaking rudely to passengers,refusing to take passengers at their respective destinations, driving without a uniform, and driving dangerously have all become common practice, what is the point of fixing any fare? The problems faced by passengers are not going to disappear.

A Category C history sheeter was hacked to death in broad daylight on Indira Nagar Main Road, Adyar today. Such open gang violence in a busy Chennai area raises serious questions about law and order under the @TVKPartyHQ government. Police action after the fact is not enough.
