This is Beacon. He's a therapy dog and one of USA Gymnastics' busiest volunteers. He attended the Olympic Trials with a badge that literally says he's the "Goodest Boy." His job is to comfort athletes and coaches, giving them a belly to rub whenever they need it. 14/10
ALT Beacon, a fluffy golden retriever, smiles as three young gymnasts in gray and red hoodies sit around him, each one of them has one arm outstretched to give him pets.
ALT Suni Lee, a member of the 2024 U.S. women's gymnastics team, crouches next to Beacon the therapy dog, gently petting his neck, her hands lost in his long fur. both Suni and Beacon are looking over toward the camera and smiling.
ALT Beacon's credential hangs among his majestic golden fur. it's themed red, white, and blue and reads, "U.S. gymnastics championships. Beacon Callahan Molnar, goodest boy, staff."

At 14.2 million viewers, last night's Iowa-UConn game averaged more viewers than:
• Any women's CBB game ever
• Every 2023 NBA Finals game
• Every 2023 World Series game
• The 2023 Orange Bowl
• The 2023 Big Ten Championship
• The 2023 Cotton Bowl
• The 2023 Pac-12 Championship
• The 2023 Big-12 Championship
• The 2023 ACC Championship
• The 2023 Peach Bowl
• The 2023 Masters Final Round
• The 2023 Daytona 500
• The 2023 Indianapolis 500
• Every tennis grand slam final (men's & women's)
• Every 2023 CFB regular season game except one
Even crazier, there is a legitimate chance that this year's women's national championship game draws more viewers than the men's.
That's incredible.

Watching these college players featured - and being paid - in all these spots during both the men’s and women’s tournaments only highlights how idiotic not allowing them to do this earlier was.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — Laurent Landi stood on the mat, arms slightly outstretched. He took one small step to his right. Then another.
Above him, above everyone really, Simone Biles soared.
On two seconds that defined so much.
