“When you feed the hungry, it is Christ you feed.” - St. John Chrysostom.
The poor are not a cause. They are an altar.

If you put politics or other worldly affairs ahead of the faith, in the end, your reward will be commensurate to your choice. Politics and politicians can never save you.

Christianity: Let me give my money to the poor. Socialism: Let me give your money to the poor.
I originally worked for Ron Paul’s ‘08 and ‘12 campaigns. I remember folks from my home state booing Dr Paul off the debate stage. Y’all I’m tired, so tired of the endless wars, the military industrial complex, the meddling of Israel, the police/surveillance state 😮💨
Mathis Albert born in Greenville SC, so proud of this kid! Best of luck to him @ @BlackYellow and with @USMNT
USMNT head coach Mauricio Pochettino on 17-year-old Borussia Dortmund winger Mathis Albert — who won a penalty shortly after coming onto the pitch in the 4-1 win against Peru 👏
“First action [after he] goes onto the pitch, bam … He's young, yes. He needs to improve, yes. He needs more experience, yes. He needs to do everything, yes, of course, but he goes to the pitch and doesn't think. Go.”
“He wants to play, wants to enjoy, wants to do. That's what we need, and that is why I am so happy with all [of the players]."

😂he’s losing it, too bad he won’t be inside building much longer

Pochettino had this to say when he talked about changing the USMNT 🇺🇸 culture this cycle.
A big hit on Pulisic, rightfully so.
I don’t think we will see B teams in the Gold Cup this cycle and those who chose to rest will suffer the consequences.

After an amazing home World Cup, what comes next for the U.S. men?
🇺🇸 Nov. 2026: Nations League quarterfinals
🏆 March 2027: Nations League Finals
🏆 Summer 2027: Gold Cup
🌎 Sept.–Oct. 2027: World Cup qualifying
🌎 Nov. 2027: World Cup qualifying
🌎 March 2028: World Cup qualifying
🌎 June 2028: Final qualifying round begins
🏆 Summer 2028: Possible Copa América
🥇 July 2028: LA Olympics, U-23 team
🏆 Fall 2028–March 2029: Nations League
🏆 Summer 2029: Gold Cup
🌎 Summer 2029: Possible Club World Cup
🌎 Sept.–Oct. 2029: Final World Cup qualifying matches
🌎 Summer 2030: World Cup
The next cycle starts almost immediately.
Who’s in?
I always see posts like this and then see Americans arguing for Pro/Rel, this is an attitude in U.S. that permeates subsurface. If my team doesn’t have elite talent I won’t watch. Yet in UK or Germany third level clubs still sell tickets. Will never happen here I’m afraid
Sad ending, USMNT had promise and I think on their best day could have beaten Belgium. It was never strong enough to be a real contender, but man getting run off the field, the way they played scared, just sucks. Onwards and Upwards

If legislators always vote with the President, we have a king.
If legislators always vote with the prevailing wind, we have mob rule.
If legislators always vote with the Constitution, we have a Republic.
