If you find yourself scrapping huge chunks of your book, carry on and know that I'm right there with you, having binned 50+% of my current project. We've got this. #WritingCommunity
After being chased by his former employer's army, my ex-assassin protag has finally reached safe haven. Now he's going to settle into life as a sword instructor and reckless thrillseeker because he never realized he was an adrenaline junky. Good times. #amwriting

Don't try to compare your journey to another writer's. We're too weird and too varied for that, and there's no standard timeline for success as an author.
Best advice for fellow writers?
Reminder: planning, prewriting, revising, and editing all fall under the "writing" umbrella. Producing words isn't the only thing we do, and it's certainly not the only thing worthy of our time. #writing #WritingCommunity

What do you listen to when you write, #WritingCommunity ? It varies for me but right now, I'm listening to a Russian women's choir singing youtu.be/gXElcQft4V0 a hymn for pilgrims, I believe. How about you? #amwriting
Dear #WritingCommunity, I wish you health and as much happiness as can be had in these uncertain times. Write when you can and remember that writing isn't just about writing. #amwriting

In case you're having a really crappy Coronavirusday, here is my cat, Yuki, who makes everything better. When the pandemic clears up, drop on by - it's warm, and I have coffee. #CatsOfTwitter #yukicat
Wondering about this myself.
How does one actually get twitter interaction? I have hundreds of followers, reply to many tweets from people I follow each day, but barely get any response to my tweets. Are they not being seen? Or just dull?
Time traveler: wow, the year 2020! Do you have flying cars? Houses on the moon? Me: no. TT: what do you have? Me: access to the sum total of human knowledge at any time. TT: cool. Me: we're also out of toilet paper. TT: wait, what?! Me: what? #tppocalypse

I love writing at 5am, but I've always been an early bird. I was the kid who woke up at 4 to watch their favorite cartoons before school.
Reasons to do #5amWritersClub: - it’s quiet - the annoying people are asleep - you basically get 2 mornings - coffee tastes better at 5am - nobody else is awake - there are no people to bother you - solitude - there are no people - did I mention that there are no people?
The failure of a previous novel to find a publisher. Taking characters from there and a score of my other works, and putting them into something totally new.
