Yesterday in broad daylight, in central London, a white man brandished a knife at a hijabi Arab mother & her baby, telling them to ‘F OFF back home’, merely for crossing the pavement? Be aware, stay safe. (1/X)

I’ve lived in London 12 years, but things have changed. He was emboldened by the racist hate spreading. Thanks to grifters such as @darrengrimes @TRobinsonNewEra @SunilSharmaUK @LeeAndersonMP_ your filthy Islamophobic orientalist race-baiting is paying off 👏🏽 (7/X)"

How do I tell Muslims I hate them without saying the word hate
Eid Mubarak to everyone celebrating. Working with the Middle East, it does make you appreciate how amazing aspects of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE are. Lots we can learn from them. (infrastructure, quality of life, dealing with extremism etc)

Ömer is 15yo. Seeing Gaza crisis he wanted to do something. He designed this brand, had it printed (out of pocket), and has been selling day/ night in Ramadan - with proceeds to Palestine. Please support and buy something, or at least follow and share! instagram.com/progressive_ef…

Asking for help from #MedTwitter for one of my trust roles For an FY1 Dr - one parent became very unwell/ dependent (needing care) in Dec. Has since been diagnosed with terminal disease. Has moved back home to help, and off work for 1 month. Is this paid or unpaid leave?

Doctors in Primary Care are Dead Doctors walking. The era of the family doctor is coming to an end. These are my personal views, I am not a BMA representative for the GP committee. I do not have any inside insights into the new imposed contract but what I can see makes me sad.
We’re making real progress in getting patients to see their GP quicker. ✅ Almost 2 million more appointments were delivered this February vs. February last year. 🗓️ That’s 100,000 more appointments each working day. 📈 With more GPs and primary care staff to come.

Due to a significant change in the way GP practices are funded
FAO GPs in the UK❗️ Unfortunately you’re no longer required due to ‘new ways of working’. Don’t worry though, nobody is replacing doctors, and if you’re against MAPs - you’re a bully. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-su…

Actually so crazy that he went on bbc and lied to the public yet will not face any accountability. There is an ongoing dispute with almost every aspect of the NHS - Nurses, consultants, SAS, junior docs and radiographers - all still pending.
No, @RishiSunak, you have not reached a resolution with nurses in the NHS. Our members rejected your pay offer, and we remain in dispute. Over 70% of the public back strike action by nursing staff, we will continue to fight for our profession and for our patients. @BBCLauraK

Laughable thought really @BMA_JuniorDocs most representative it’s ever been with highest engagement in recent elections (10x compared to 2 years ago) On the ground: 7k more doctors voted FOR strike action (after ave 8.8% award) in Aug vs Feb ballot (43k Vs 36k). Both 98% yes
Health Secretary Victoria Atkins tells Radio 4 that junior doctors should ask themselves whether the @BMA_JuniorDocs committee is representing their best interests after (as she describes it) walking out of talks with Gov and calling nine days of strike action

As an MP I hoped you’d know emergency care for ALL is an NHS principle - healthcare is a UNDHR, but that aside… - If my first language is not English do I not deserve care? - If so, do you propose I pay less tax/ NI? And plot twist, what if I provide that care??
Replying to @Fletcher4Mayor
Uncontrolled immigration has an impact on us all. If your child needs urgent medical treatment you would go to A&E only to find the waiting room full of people whose first language is not English. Huge waiting times. Unacceptable. 🧵

Longer excerpt of his horrible speech. Thank you for telling us ethnic minorities if we speak a different language or extended family come from abroad, we are now not even welcome in A&E…
Nick Fletcher(Tory MP): "We are turning parts of our community into a ghetto... you have a 12 hour waiting list at A&E, & the reason why the waiting list is so long, is because people don't speak English in these places anymore..." #RwandaPlan
