We just crossed 100 billion tokens on @freemilk_ai 🥳
Introducing a free coding agent that runs locally on your iPhone - FreeMilk
- Free daily allowance of coding models: DeepSeek V4.1 Flash, GPT 6 Luna, and GLM 5.3 Flash (will add more)
- Reads and writes files on-device with local git support
- GitHub integration to clone repos, check CI/CD logs and more.
- Connect to MCP servers straight from your iPhone, your credentials and keys stay on-device.
- Start multiple on-device agents at once in the background that can run for minutes or even hours. No remote control or cloud sandboxes needed.
- Built in on-device web browser that agent can take control when in foreground (still work-in-progress)
- Connect with your personal data on iPhone, such as Photos, Calendar, Reminders, and more.
First, this is a little scary. But second, hey, this means LLMs should soon be able to write assembly code and we might not need to think about choosing programming languages and stacks!
We asked GPT-6 Astra to edit Qwen3.5-0.8B weights to improve math.
It directly changed only 0.016% of weights, fixing 0.8B's reasoning loops & improving math up to 6x and even instruction following 3x, without gradients or training.
We call this Weight-Space Programming: frontier LLMs can now natively read/write neural network weights! 🧵

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
LLM was given weights explicitly as text in prompt and used code/forward passes (per authors' logs) to ablate Qwen looping direction, a known thinking-mode issue per model card. Primarily fixed repetition in that mode, not general 'natively' improving weights/math.

“Skate to where the puck is going to be, not where it has been”
If I’m building something today in the age of AI where it’s so easy to build anything, I keep this quote in mind. Think innovative. Don’t try to make another copy of something you saw in here just because you can.
Be forward looking, can you build something truly valuable on top of what’s already built? Or are you just going to create a fork of an existing repo, slap your logo, or paste the same prompt and run ads hoping your product is discovered before others?
Devs using FreeMilk rely heavily on GitHub CI logs since you can't run tests and perform lint checks (yet) locally on your iPhone, and certainly can't build on iPhone. So here's some good tips:
if you're wondering what the heck is FreeMilk:

Will need to figure out and integrate this into @freemilk_ai
Would be super cool if you could make presentations directly on your iPhone using FreeMilk’s on-device agent
Huge day for Creator Studio today.
Our new in-app assistants can help you get things done in record time. MCP allows you to bring your own agent if you want. And an open source format for Keynote (and Python library!) so you can create Keynote documents programmatically on any platform.
Super proud of the team. Hope you love it!

“The philosophy has always been… to be the best, not the first.” — Tim Cook
@milq_ai wasn’t the first app that built mobile apps on the App Store, won’t be the first on any other newly announced stores, and won’t be the first to adopt a new business model. But IMO, with whatever limited capabilities it has had, it’s always been the best.
Another service launched that’s very similar to @sqim_app… so glad this trick has really taken off :)
There are thousands of builds already uploaded on Sqim and being used by devs every day!
Introducing speedflight.dev - testflight built for agents to easily share iOS apps with you & your team.
little known trick, you can host signed builds and install them from safari if you cut an adhoc distribution build with your device registered in your ASC account. [1]
i also added screenshots, past builds, what's new & more - it's easy to confuse what you're testing while working on 100 things
→ its totally free
→ no sign up required
→ works with gh actions
that last one is neat - work in any linux sandbox or devbox, build runs in CI on mac runners, agent sends you the link or review in PRs 🤝 ios finally gets preview links
just tell your agent "setup speedflight.dev"

[1] By default you hit download and iOS asks to install it via system message. you get no confirmation when its complete, pretty shitty ux.
i wanted some niceties like download progress / opening the app from safari (ios doesnt tell you when its done) so I watch the packets leaving the server to estimate download progress & stream this back to the site over websockets.
