Holy Cow @Canva keeps getting better & better for @CanvaEdu! I typed "graph" looking for graph clipart. Canva had a better surprise Element waiting for me... live graph chart. Can't wait to use this on Day 1 to track which school supplies we have received. #DiscoverWithShields
4 FREE Fall Thanksgiving Coloring Pages, Early Finishers Coloring Activities teacherspayteachers.com/Prod… These are just beautiful! Thank you for sharing these on TPT
Well that was a happy little accident in Canva. If pressing r makes a rectangle; pressing c makes a circle; and pressing s makes a square - I figured perhaps pressing T would make a triangle. I was wrong. Whompwhomp. But guess what it does?!? It creates a text box... It put that "Your paragraph text" there for me to edit. Thought I'd share. #DiscoverWithShields
Curious, @Crayola and @CrayolaLearning why does your set of 12 colored pencils not include a pink? #DiscoverWithShields Kids noticed last year. Just realized they are right.
Any other teachers enjoy searching for things to enhance their classrooms and instruction? #ClearTheLists amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/UB… Love seeing other teacher's lists for inspiration too.
Only found this feature in the Spring for myself with Canva. Drafted this as a reminder for myself for September. Thought I would share in case anyone else needs this reminder.
An enjoyable STEAM lesson today: Paper airplanes make connections to: measurement, multiplication, ratios, fractions, air resistance, drag, and design. Who knew our floor tiles were exactly 12 inches long?! #DiscoverWithShields (AI only used to remove something in the photo)

Happy vernal equinox! 🍀
Today marks the first day of spring in the Northern Hemisphere and the first day of autumn in the Southern Hemisphere.
After today, the Sun will shine more directly on the Northern Hemisphere than on the Southern Hemisphere until the autumnal equinox.

ALT An image containing four snapshots of Earth, each at a different equinox or solstice. Each Earth is perfectly divided in half by sunlight and shadow. The images of the equinoxes (dates listed as March 20, 2011 and Sept. 20, 2011) have sunlight centered along the equator, with Earth lit from 12 o'clock to 6 o'clock. The image of the summer solstice (June 21, 2011) shows Earth lit from about 11 o'clock to 5 o'clock. The image of the winter solstice (Dec. 21, 2010) shows Earth lit from about 1 o'clock to 7 o'clock. Credit: NASA
