2. If you're talking about the Death album, then yeah, I love it. Anything else: no thanks.

When you've been part of the vocal synth community for a long time, you may sometimes feel a sense of loss and think, "Somehow, this doesn't feel like our scene anymore."
But at the same time, somewhere, new ways of enjoying that culture are emerging.
However strange or hard to understand those new ways may seem, they still hold the seeds of new creativity. And any of us could find ourselves completely captivated by them.
Of course, there's real value in exploring the creative history this culture has built over the past two decades and discovering the many great songs that have come out of it. It's difficult for newcomers to experience in a short time everything that longtime fans have experienced over the years.
But you don't need to know all of that history to enjoy something new. And no matter how long we've been part of this culture, there are discoveries ahead for all of us in what has yet to be created.
In that sense, being a longtime fan or a newcomer makes no difference.
