Sony: [Deletes 500 legally purchased movies from your account]
"So anyway, this is how you're going to buy games now."
Important updates:
News on physical discs for new games - play.st/4v86Wg3
News on PlayStation Store on PS3 and PS Vita - play.st/4vEN9FX
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Digital purchases are licenses, not ownership. Sony can revoke access. This raises concerns about long-term ownership, game preservation, resale, lending, and reliance on servers/stores
“The Software is licensed to you, not sold...”
→ playstation.com/en-us/legal/so…
Sony ending physical PlayStation discs in 2028 isn’t just about games.
Movies became streaming. Music became Spotify. Software became SaaS. Cars are next.
Little by little, ownership is being replaced by access.
“You’ll own nothing” wasn’t a warning. It was a roadmap.
Here we go. DualSense 30th anniversary arrived. I love the retro styled box. Can’t wait for the rest of the haul tomorrow, Including the Pro limited bundle!
Very excited for this! Especially since the shop screwed up and only charged €28.17 for this bundle 😅😎

Hey @LimitedRunGames are those EU distributor plans still in motion and if so is there an ETA? I remember you first mentioning those plans 4 years ago now (pre Covid). Can’t continue justifying these DDP shipping prices anymore tbh. It’s insane.
