New Bloom is becoming the biggest database on Fashion toxicity
should we go deeper or broader?
Building the Amazon for non-toxic fashion and was wondering if:
(A) you guys would pay for access to an intelligent platform rating clothes based on toxicity (subscription for deeper readings -hormone disruptors, lab testing, etc.)
(B) or if a free marketplace is enough, you just care about plastic-free clothes

I don't expect any fashion brand producing 100% synthetic clothing to survive the next couple of years.
I called it in 2024, it's starting to happen.

>back in Cusco for my research on natural dyes, yesterday i spent the whole day with an indigenous textile community who get together twice a year to dye natural fibers and preserve Inca textile traditions. i’m writing a book on Fashion Health where you’ll read more about it
>ToxicFahionDetector.com is growing on users and becoming a strong marketplace to find plastic-free clothing without any paid marketing, purely organic. This week i created an automated email workflow where we share new plastic-free finds so users can easily shop through newbloom.shop
>been using unfair.so for GTM and it has been a super helpful tool to find influencers in the space and interact with similar accounts or people looking exactly for what I’m building. It feels like I hired 10 stalkers sending me accounts I should reach out to.
>i’m a solo founder, been bootstrapping for the past 6 months, but having interested investor calls next week. DM me if you want to invest.

> soft launched a new version of our scan cards - more structured processing of product data, claims and certifications. slowly adding lab tests for brands that already have them.
> food and skincare have nutrition labels. why aren't we holding apparel to the same standard, when it's on our most absorbent organ 24/7? that's what our labels are for.
> the lack of data is itself a data point. most brands know how their products are processed. when a chemical wash or dye isn't mentioned, it's usually because it doesn't add value to the product. so our cards will show what data we're missing and give the brand a chance to provide it for review.
> every brand website presents composition, certifications and production details differently, so shoppers hit a wall of marketing language they can't verify + a confusing formatting. our scan cards are also fixing this issue.
> New Bloom Blanks - We're also helping brands make cool polyester-free merch for their teams and launches, this is the B2B side that bootstraps everything else. visit newbloom(dot)shop/studio to book a call.

We have nutrition labels for food.
We have full ingredient lists for skincare.
Why aren't our clothes held to the same standard?
That's why I'm building NewBloom. It's time fashion got a real health standard.
We shipped this in 4 hours thanks to the already scanned products in the platform.
Of the big activewear names we've scanned (Lululemon, Alo Yoga, Vuori, Branwyn), not one free of plastic.
Shipped a directory of 100% plastic-free activewear, pulled from 1500+ products scanned in Toxic Fashion Detector
Also added products that are almost there (10% synthetic - 90% natural) with a full toxicity analysis
some of the brands that passed the filter
