The anti woke morons love to make up numbers lol. Yotei's deb cost was roughly 60m. Same as the first game. Confirmed by Brian Fleming. (Lead at sucker Punch.) Marketing was roughly similar as well 30-40m The game made over 4x it's production cost.

No not at all it was more like 90M dev cost and 200M marketing and other stuff so let’s say 300, success would be 3 times the investment in revenue so basically short to a billion. Also it didn’t sell as well as the first ont that was a new IP so it’s a shame

Just a reminder this game made over 4x its entire production cost and was in fact a financial success. Development and marketing combined were somewhere between 80-100m. It made over 400m in sales. But hey. They still say Jin was "replaced". Which lets you know these freaks never played the first game to begin with.

I'm a customer and I demand for it to be removed because I don't like the harm it is doing to developers who use or don't even use AI. I find it very anti-consumer for Valve to do this because of the harm towards developers.

The #DragonAge world of Thedas encyclopedias are absolutely beautiful man. I'm going to miss the art work this series brought to to the table. My art book for veilguard forms Monday. I want the inquisition book as well. But they're $300+ 😓

Original taash design btw in the first image. The art book has over 200 piece of art in it. More than the first three games combined. And it shows alot of stuff that would never make the cut due to the meddling by EA and forced reset to make it live service.

take one look at veilguard's artbook, at all the amazing ideas the devs had and were forced to scrap because ea forced them to remake the game from scratch more than once. do not blame it on the people working there because "they made a bad game", these devs are troopers

There an entire history to the troubled development that lead to this game being what it was. Veilguard is NOT the game BioWare wanted. It was the shell of a game EA wanted. Many veterans of the series left and quit because of EA fucking with their vision.

The game was also likely going to release 2019/2020 when it was under development as project Joplin. But EA just bad to cancel it and make try and turn it into a live service game.
