Before being a fan, I AM A WOMAN. And I will always stand by my principles. I refuse to blindly defend a man facing sexual assault allegations just because I’m a fan. If he’s proven innocent, I’ll have no problem acknowledging I was wrong. But until then, I choose to take the allegations seriously and stand with a potential victim rather than dismiss their voice. And to the girls and women blindly defending him, harassing others, and dragging Joong’s family and other actors into this: shame on you. You’ve crossed every possible line, and for what? A man you don’t even personally know? Supporting someone doesn’t mean abandoning your empathy, dignity, and basic human decency. Being a fan should never come before being a decent human being. You can believe in someone’s innocence without attacking other people and their family. No man is worth sacrificing your humanity for.
