Hereβs my advice as a tech coach:
Stop. Trying. All. The. Things.
And if anyone makes you feel otherwise, stop taking advice from them.
Focus on pedagogy and the student experience.
The tools are going to change tomorrow. Good pedagogy wonβt.

In Japanese schools, the students don't take any exams until 4th grade. WHY? The goal for the first few years of school is not to judge the childβs knowledge or learning, but to establish good manners & to develop their character.
Should this philosophy be implemented in the US?

College softball is 4 years and your career is 40.
Your degree wonβt have the softball program on it.
It will have the university name.
Use softball to get ahead in life.

26 million people work from home at least part time and we think itβs being savvy. 3 million Teachers have to do it during a pandemic and people want their pay cut since they think theyβre not working. Teachers sure do put up with a lot of crap just to educate our youth.
