That’s the milestone @nujdotapp just passed. After donating more than $60,000 in 2025, Nuj has officially hit six figures in total donations since launching on the App Store in 2022.
Some of the top charities include @khanacademy, @MSF_USA, @GiveWell, @MakeAWish, and @StJude.
In 2025, Nuj also helped users save over 26,740 hours by helping them get out of bed on time and stick to their routines. That’s over 3 years of time saved!
When I built Nuj, I never expected it to have this kind of impact so quickly. Whether it’s helping people reclaim time or supporting causes they care about, it’s incredibly gratifying.

Quick reminder for those who are unfamiliar, I’ve been building @nujdotapp - an alarm clock app that charges users money if they don’t get out of bed. This money is then sent to charity.
Tripling also happened in another area: time saved from staying in bed. Nuj users collectively saved over 760 days—that’s more than two years reclaimed from the snooze button!
I always thought if @nujdotapp ever made it to TV, it would be on @CP24, but it looks like @KWCH12 (and a few other local US stations) beat them to punch! Thanks for the App of the day feature!

Firebase's authentication endpoint is having an outage, meaning that apps that built on Firebase are simply not working (eg @excalidraw) Users just don't see their data.
It's been about 2 hours. Incidents like this degrade the perception of how reliable a cloud data store is.
