Let's get some facts straight: @RepGabeVasquez completely ignored the border until it became the worst humanitarian and influx crisis in history. During that time, Gabe called the growing crisis at the border a "non-existent threat." He repeatedly called the border wall "racist" and tweeted that he wanted to "tear it down." He disparaged ICE and CBP constantly. Then, in Congress, he voted AGAINST the Secure the Border Act, the most comprehensive stand-alone border security bill in history. Then, he voted AGAINST H. Res. 957, Denouncing the Biden administration's open-borders policies, condemning the national security and public safety crisis along the southwest border, and urging President Biden to end his administration's open-borders policies. Then, he voted AGAINST the recent Laken Riley Act, which would require illegal immigrants who have been charged with crimes in the U.S. to be taken into custody. The act would honor the life of 22-year-old Laken Riley, who was brutally murdered by an illegal immigrant suspect who was charged with other crimes and was then released back into the U.S. >>>You will know them by their fruit, and Gabe Vasquez's voting record shows us EXACTLY who he is and what his priorities are. He will not vote to secure the border (nor does he want to), and he was complicit with the Biden administration in making the border into the humanitarian crisis it is today.
