The Injective Trench Treasury has officially acquired 5% of the @runupdotfun $RUNNER supply.
RunUp is building a new model for token launches on Injective, leveraging native perpetual markets to create unique value accrual mechanisms. Trading fees fund onchain treasury strategies, with profits supporting token buybacks and holders earning $INJ rewards from platform activity.
The team has also expanded to Solana, allowing anyone to launch tokens paired directly with $INJ while rewarding holders in INJ. With integrations spanning @JupiterExchange, @Backpack and Coinbase, RunUp is creating entirely new pathways for Solana users to discover INJ while bringing new users, trading activity and revenue opportunities to the Injective ecosystem. The initial RunUp launch also saw more than 30,000 unique users entering the Injective eco.
This acquisition follows the Trench Treasury’s purchase of 10% of the @NinjaCatSF supply and reinforces what the initiative was created to support. Projects that introduce real utility for INJ, bring new communities into the Injective ecosystem and develop innovative value accrual mechanisms will continue to be prioritized. As always any acquisition by the Injective Trench Treasury will never be sold as a show of long-term commitment for the community.
