Widen it to the top 10%, which starts at 2,063 XRP, and those 827,569 accounts hold 98.65%. These are accounts, not people. Ripple announced new Ripple Treasury capabilities on Oct 26 at Swell 2026, aimed at managing cash, liquidity and payments around the clock. The headline feature is 24/7 Returns. Eligible corporate customers can earn returns on qualifying digital assets held in a Ripple wallet, including RLUSD, putting operating cash to work overnight, on weekends and on holidays. Participation is subject to program requirements, and Ripple hasn't published return rates. Ripple named American Airlines, Trax, Christian Louboutin, Subway, Adecco and Kingfisher among the businesses the new capabilities are designed for. Subway, with nearly 37,000 restaurants, is an existing Ripple Treasury customer. Its case study reports 98% cash visibility, 90% of payments automated and about 400,000 transactions a year. BNY is adding XRP and Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin to its institutional custody platform. Only this custody part of the news involves the XRP token. BNY also intends to let clients mint and redeem RLUSD directly through the bank. That's still in development, with no timeline yet. Janus Henderson and Centrifuge launched JQQQ today (Oct 27), a tokenized fund on Stellar that tracks the Nasdaq-100. Nasdaq licensed the index for the fund. Ripple and Robinhood announced a partnership today (Oct 27) centered on Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin. Robinhood will use RLUSD on the XRP Ledger for institutional settlement. Robinhood will also integrate Ripple Treasury into its own operations. RLUSD is expected to come to the Robinhood app later this year. The 1B XRP that Ripple's escrow released on Oct 1 still hasn't moved. It went into two Ripple wallets, 500M each. XRP Ledger data checked this morning shows both still hold about 500M XRP, with no outgoing payments since Oct 1. Each wallet has another 500M XRP escrow that unlocks Nov 1 (00:00 UTC), so another 1B in total. Separately, US spot XRP ETFs had $3.61M in net outflows on Monday, all from Bitwise's fund, per SoSoValue data. All XRP ETFs together hold about $1.47B in net assets. Ripple received final approval from the OCC, the US bank regulator, on Oct 26 for Ripple National Trust Bank. The trust bank is approved to manage the segregated reserves behind Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin, act as collateral trustee of those reserves for RLUSD holders, and offer digital asset custody to institutions. It's a national trust charter, so it can't take deposits or make loans. RLUSD will still be issued by Ripple's New York-regulated trust company. The charter adds federal supervision on top. A correction on the Overledger docs going around, including my own reply to SMQKE earlier today. SMQKE's screenshots are real and match Quant's docs. But the page doesn't confirm XRPL, Stellar and Hedera are all connected the same way. Self-serve, where an account can register a node and reach the network in minutes, covers six DLT families: EVM, Solana, Cosmos, SUI, Hedera and Aptos. Hedera connects through its EVM-compatible mirror. The XRP Ledger, Stellar and Bitcoin are listed as public DLTs "not yet connected via the self-serve route." They're integrated through a project engagement with Quant's team, the same path as Fabric, Corda and Canton. My reply treated all three as equal connectors. They aren't, so I'm correcting it here. Aviva Investors just launched a tokenized share class of its Sterling Liquidity Fund on the XRP Ledger. It's the firm's largest fund, with about £22B under management. That's the whole fund, not what's on-chain: the fund stays off-chain, and investor holdings are represented on the XRPL as a "digital twin." Aviva put £50M into the new share class itself. Across this and its USD Liquidity Fund share class from July, it now has over £86M ($116M) in tokenized money market funds.
